Beat the game with 1502 points, really fun! Some hitboxes felt a little small and hard to hit, especially the bats as they were moving towards you sometimes, but those are all small things that can be tweaked and fixed. Overall, very enjoyable, well balanced, and fun enough to make me go back and play all the way through a second time!

Hey Keltfire,

Wow!!! You're not supposed to beat the "developer's" score!!!! Excellent job!!!!  I think the hit box issue is really just a touch of lag on the itch.io servers.  I noticed it when I played it online as well.  In the standalone mode, it's just so much more responsive and enjoyable.  Don't download it though, I would be scared that I didn't provide enough digits in the score box to account for your exceptional play :)

p.s. Thanks for your nice comments :)

Managed to get to the end with 1013 points! Very good all around with a very clean presentation and gameplay that's simple and engaging. The shooting did feel a little sluggish, but it was still a lot of fun.

Thanks Iggyminious,

Pretty good score...I think I got 1200 points myself.  However, I played the stand-alone version which is much more responsive.  It seems the itch.io servers can be a bit finicky depending on what country you are in.  I actually included a stand-alone version for those that suffer from lag and want a more responsive feel.  However, I myself do not download local version as I am a bit leery; however, it's there is you want it. Thanks for playing :)

When playing this, it felt like I was in one of those amusement park shooter rollercoasters lol. I really enjoyed this. Great job!

this takes me back to classic flash games. My only complaint is game was kinda dark. (but it is literally a mine so what can you do lol)

Developer

Hi Just JDep,

Thanks for playing...and you're right, I intentionally tried to make it dark like a cave.  As everyone's monitor is different though what i should have done is allowed the user to set the darkness level.  Anyway, thanks for playing.

I really like this concept! There are several points of challenge and interesting mechanics. I failed the first time because I didn't understand the orb signs on the first run, but then I got this score.

Developer(+1)

Thanks BeachBlock,

The feedback on the orbs being a little 'unintuitive' seems to be a common complaint.  If, I ever go back to enhancing this game (although, I doubt it as just made for this jam) I will re-think it.   None the less, thanks for your nice feedback!

Cool game, I love the UI art and the environment was pretty cool. I was not expecting the dark tunnel and a boss fight as it got me very excited! The idea is solid for a arcade feel, nice work!

Thank you for your nice comments...glad you enjoyed it :)

Your game gives me good memories on these Arcade halls we went to when we were youngsters. We shot with "pistols"  at targets on the big screen in front of us - this was something!

I love your take on this. It's hard to rate the graphics, as they are coming from a store (wich is totally okay for this Jam). You incorporated them greatly and skillfully into a nice, polished and challenging game that is fun to play. Good job!

Just for the competition: Got 300 points in my best run (which is pretty lousy, I expect :-D )

Hi Human Tiger,

Thanks for playing :)  C'mon you can do better than that...give her another try.  I think you must have been missing the buckets.  They give you the most points.   Time the rock debris on them and the claw that moves on a wire and you'll be over 900; you can do it :)
