Interesting game, I feel like it could turn into someone really cool. The movement felt a little forced for me, but I did like how you could upgrade that (oddly it didn't feel like I kept my upgrade when I went to another planet)

I would try and work on tiles for the desert level too as they tend to blur as you run, maybe make the tiles larger and spread the pattern out a little bit or just less intricate patterns maybe.

Great start just needs more polish and a gun please, I really wanted to shoot something lol.

Huh thought the upgrades worked, guess not lol.

Good idea on the desert!

Originally i wanted a lot more stuff in the game (like weapons, more types of planets, more types of creatures, space fights and so on) but you know itsa game jam so i ran out of time :P

Thank you for playing!

Lol I know that feeling too.

It's well made but I don't feel that there's much going on, is this intentional or are you planning to take the project into a different direction with the finished game?

It's meant to be a pretty simple, good looking platformer where you can go to different "levels". There wasn't to much time to make the world more living. Though i wanted to add more to the background and more creatures.

A decent little platformer where the main selling point is pretty much just the artstyle. It looks good, but the gameplay is a bit basic. The story is simple but rather charming from how much of it I've seen so far.

Glad that you liked it!

Interesting art style...Loved the trippy feel some of the worlds had. The shadows on the backgrounds were an interesting design choice though - makes it pop forward a bit but also makes you notice it's flat so wasn't sure how I felt about that. Personally am not a fan of jumping puzzles but for what they are they were well done here...challenging at times but not impossible. Favorite aspect was discovering and exploring the various planets and sectors. Overall pleasant experience...enjoyed it!

In the start i experimented a bit with shadows but it didn't look that good (the way i did it) and i wanted to experiment a bit with shaders, glad that you enjoyed it!
