Really neat concept that could definitely be expanded into more. I really liked the improvement mechanic where you defeated the asteroids and then when you defeated a certain amount you could use those point to upgrade yourself. It was also a nice touch when your shot color changed. However, I did not like the increase of difficult right after each improvement. I definitely feel that this could be a gradual change after every few upgrades. I also wished there were sound effects for shooting and destroying asteroids. Overall though, nice work!
This is a nice base for a SHMUP game. What's already there is fine, just adding small things like sfx and more polish would make this quite a lot more fun. Congrats on your submission! :)
Moving and destroying asteroids feels nice, but the game really could use some sounds and music. Also, the difficulty doesn't seem to progress, once you get a hang of how to destroy asteroids, you basically can't lose. maybe you could make it that more asteroids spawn the longer you play, or they become bigger and need more bullets, or maybe when you destroy them they will split into several smaller ones (literally have seen this idea on this very jam in another asteroid-like game). this would make it much more interesting. otherwise, good job, I liked it
Love me an asteroids-like game. I agree with the other two commenters though, the rocks take multiple bullets to destroy so it feels like I'd have to click 200 times a minute to stay alive which gets tiring fast. Fun game otherwise.
Thank you for playing and for your constructive analysis, I will implement this Mechanic
I agree with the previous comment. The movement and aiming feels good. I thought the same thing, that I wish I could hold to shoot. Maybe you could go more of a SHMUP type game if you want to incorporate bosses and stuff. The only other thing was I was initially confused that the hearts hurt me, until I realized I needed to shoot them to get more health. Oh, and music/sfx would definitely help.

Good movement! Aiming feels great. Would be awesome if I could just hold to shoot continuously
