Let people know how long you've been working on the game
I started this project on January 1st for this game jam but I now have plans to continue working on it moving forward until its story is complete.

This was done really well, the realistic graphics and the nearby footsteps of ~something~ was creepy af and had me on edge for most of the time. I also loved the riddles/puzzles the way you eventually combined all the notes into one and wrote "you are worthy of love" or something like that. I'm really interested in games that have real-life experiences/stories mixed in so I hope you continue with this project, great job!
Thank you for those wonderful compliments and I'm glad that you enjoyed the experience! I definitely plan to see this project through to the end. I've finished doing a bunch of QOL improvements and some bug fixes and now I'm starting work on another puzzle before progressing the narrative of the game some more. My hope is to be able to extend the game's gameplay by about 10 to 15 additional minutes every 2 months or less and wrap the game up with a minimum of 1 hours worth of gameplay or more. I'm excited to continue this project!
This was quite the experience! I love the surreal feeling it has to it.
It manages to feel both very creepy and very anguished at the same time, which suits it perfectly.
Also, the Mother's Lament added a nice depth to the story already! Maybe that's part of the introspection element, huh...
As it turns out, I've become particularly fond of the riddle, and I'm guessing our way out should be connected to finding the version of our mirror that is actually capable of creating a reflection.
I'll be looking forward to see where this story goes! Great work 💕
really good game :)
This was a really cool horror game that really surprised me with the effects of the prison bars. When I went through the mirror and experienced that prison bar scene, I instantly felt that I have entered another dimension of horror games XD. The horrifying worms on the walls were also really horrifying as well as the sound effects used throughout the game. The game explored the mind of someone who is suffering and suffocating from life through the use of various possible real life events and exploring the mind of the main character.
