Looks promising!

It hang (Linux 64) after going to the quit menu and clicking quit.

Also, if you strip the binaries, they will weight a little less ;-)

Developer(+1)

Not sure how to strip the binaries, but maybe Godot 3 will make them smaller. Just ported it over a few weeks ago and fixed many of the errors. Will start back on it next month during the day. I have some other things to do for other jams that I'll move toward the night, another game.

I couldn't make sense of all the stuff in the HUD but at least the sign with the bright-colored top asked me how I was doing. Good job so far, make sure your cursor is an actual part of the hud and not a flying 2d object that's clipping with the ground/sign.
Oh, pressing E writes about the games future with "creature capture" and "breeding".

Developer

There is a reticle, but I'll remove the 3D pointer in future versions.

Maybe you can configure it to be bigger. :)
Anyway, focus on implementing those creatures and their capture.

Will you be developing it further? Looks promising, but unfinished.

Developer

I'm going to try migrating it to Godot 3.0 and furthering it for another jam. I might also work on another game for a couple of jams as well.
