  • I loved the art style, my lord! I'd love to see some weapon upgrades in the future. There is some collision problems whe na ghost pushes you into a box sometimes? you go in the sky a bit once in a while. I'd love to see some more characters!

I love the look of this game. You really freshened the lowpoly 3d style with some nice little techniques. Also, always a sucker for the isometric look.

I struggled with the controls the first couple days but quickly got used switching between tools and combat. I found the grid selection a little tough in places where there were overlapping colliders, but there was also a lot to like about the tool and planting system.  I really wanted to just keep playing this, but at night 9 I must have run into a bug. After I killed 4 ghosts I tried to go to bed, but it said there were more lurking around. I looked everywhere and couldn't find them, so I had to end my game there.

That being said the combination of a fun farming system and a nice base for a OG Resident Evil style combat really hooked me. This is a favourite of mine so far.  Father Pucci would be proud.

Thank you for playing!

I am a big fan of the motion when items are used, it really makes the game feel alive. The cohesive style is really great. I love the direction you are heading in!

Awesome art and audio style, like a demented version of Stardew Valley!

Some of the text (e.g., the letter in the intro, or the numbers on the trading pop-up) is too small at this resolution.

The combat controls reminded me of the Alone in the Dark games. A pleasant memory, but dodging is quite difficult with this control scheme.

Nice entry, I'm happy to see more and more godot games in jams! Love the style and the ambiance really is grim ^^ The dynamic grid system is a bit clanky but pretty impressive. The combat system is rough, not seeing the mouse makes me look in a random direction every time I want to aim.

As far as I admit that it was said too abuptly, I must reckon that the game feels way too "objective-less". After 4 or 5 days, we get the formula and the lack of perspective does not really push to play which is really sad since the game is polished and plays well.

Really cool entry! I'm super impressed with how the game looks, as well as the auditory ambiance playing the whole time which really adds to the experience. All of the different features and mechanics in this game that you were able to fit within the month of the jam is really impressive. I think the game could benefit from a bit more of a progression curve, since the enemy waves at night are always the same, but other than that this is a really good game. I'm especially fascinated with the dynamic grid system you were able to implement for the farming.

Also, this is semi-unrelated, but ignore the guy who left a snarky comment on the game page. Going through his profile, he leaves nasty comments like that on almost all of the games he plays, and he hasn't even published a game himself, so he doesn't know what he's talking about. Just ignore him. I know that pouring hours into a jam project like this, especially a month long one, and then getting a bad comment like that can be very demoralizing, so I feel bad.

I don't think that not having tried to make games means that you can't talk about games ^^'

That being said, I think this person does not realise they're commenting on a jam game, which means a lot of things might have been chopped off an idea just to go to core mechanics. We experience this often when presenting our jam games to friends, they tend to stop on every detail we knowingly ignored because we thought it was not very relevant and necessary for the jam.

It's cool that you reacted and got him to appologise for being so harsh, though.

Thank you for playing the game, I'm really glad you liked it! And I also appreciate your support on the game page :) The guy in comments might be a little harsh, but I guess his criticism has some point
