Really interesting game! Liked the side scrolling story aspect of it each time you did an action and the fact that your steps counted down until the next time your time would be reset. The pixel art is really nice and I love the chill funky music playing in the background. I didn't finish it, but it was really fun exploring around and learning more and more about where to go.
Very beautiful spritework! The tiles and characters are very appealing. The music really fit the aesthetic, helped establish that dungeony atmosphere. Would have liked to hear more SFX to get feedback from combat. The UI text was a bit small, but the colors contrasted enough to help readability. I like the idea of having limited time / moves to explore, but the enemies continually boxed me in or wore my health down and I couldn't really get past the second room. I would love to see more. Maybe letting the player's Masteries persist across lives would make it easier to progress? Lots of potential if you wanted to develop it beyond the jam!
Hey! The version you played was a previous build that we had to enter because our webGL was bugged. The real build is up now, and that includes balance fixes that make it possible to progress through the game. If you have time, we'd love if you could give our game another shot!
A decent game. Somehow, the art reminds me of your game, Crypt Crafter. Everything looks and feels good. It seems to have more than what I could uncover and that is because I couldn't proceed in the game. I kept on losing again and again. Any tips to proceed?

I tried the game again. The game is much easier now. I have reached quite far. But still I kept on losing. Maybe, it's just me. It's either the knights or the moves getting zero.
When I enter fullscreen in WebGL, the display gets odd.
It happened with my game too. Solution: Use Canvas Scaler component. ;)
I didn't even think to check fullscreen webGL, I'll definitely pass it over to our programmer.
For the game, you're supposed to loop back a few times at least. When you pick up 'masteries', your exp gain is increased, and when you gain 'Titles', your base stats increase. Both are kept even when you loop.
