It's a flawed yet enjoyable experience. The walls feel sticky, controls and objective are unclear and the gameplay isn't all that deep. But it's fun to play, sounds really good and has some cool ideas, which is more than most jam games. Good job!
so either there is only one level or i am too dumb to figure out how to escape. and id really like to know which is right
love the concept of only seeing guards through line of sight it's something i've been meaning to figure out in some of my own games. if you could give me a brief explanation on how you've developed it that would be great
Dang, this is a lot of fun! You're right, it's like a stealth Pac-Man. It gave me memories of playing through Rambo III on the Genesis/Mega Drive, honestly. Thanks for reaching out to me, it was a lot of fun!

interesting game. I included it in my Dream Arcade Archive compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Thank you very much for the support, it really means a lot to us :)

Thank you for the feedback :) I will address some issues with a future release so stay tuned!

I've used Godot's Light 2d node in mask mode to hide the enemies when they exit player's field of view. Hope it can be useful to you :)
(also you can't really escape, the levels loop indefinitely )
Amazing game this was super fun and creative.

i wanted to upload a game that i did for another jam thinking it would fit perfectly in this one called patman. https://jacobsmith3204.itch.io/patman
