I think the idea is very interesting building a tower as you are being chased by a rising lava pit. I found it a little hard to jump on certain objects because of the colliders. Good Job!

Thanks yes I was rushed on the object colliders. Once the Jam is over, I will create all new objects in Blender and tie in colliders which match the object shapes as well as more unique ones like bridges, Dynamic objects, clouds after getting high enough, etc...
Good Game
Thanks
Good Game, at the beginning I was a bit confused didn't know which window to look at, but after a few tries I started getting the hang of it and trying to stay alive longer. Difficult game, but overall good job on the game jam!
Thank you yeah I wish I could have added more but definitely will after the Jam
I suspect I need to build a structure to keep the avatar away from the rising lava? Some more instructions would be appreciated, you can still add them to the game page. Are the build elements random? When I got a log, I could do things with it but the rocks I couldn’t climb.
Yes sorry, I should add more info. The Lava just doesn't keep climbing but covers the floor after 20 secs of start. Yes, the build elements are random. Sadly I didn't have enough time to add many variety. This is great info and I will try to outline it as best I can in the game page. Thanks
cool concept ngl, i wish the camera would automatically follow the player though, and also when i pressed a number (2 for example), i couldn't unselect the object and select something else. it was fun playing it though but i'm not good at your game apparently. also idk if it's just me but the "Unlocks" option in the main menu doesn't seem to work
Yeah ran out of time to get to the Unlocks lol. That was by design that once you pick a block that is the block you need to use. I will play around with the idea of letting you swap picks but will make no promise that is the direction I will go lol. Thanks for the feedback
ohh i see, makes sense lol
I'm not sure what the three numbers mean, but I got (from the left to right on the Game Over screen) 43.7 ft, 78.9 ft, and 35.2 ft. The rocks began spawning as totally transparent at some point, which made it very difficult to continue. I think if the rocks and other objects weren't as easy for the player to move, construction could be a lot more engaging. I did have fun, though, and I liked how quickly I could jump back into the game after losing.
Yes your 43 was the height you built to with 35.2 being your climbing (Your Controlled Player) height. Yes that is a synced Materials issue that I haven't been able to sort out yet, I apologize. Yes this was one of the biggest update people said I should make which I agree moving fast I didn't think about as I was playing it so much but I will just need to loop the player into the physics so that they will interact with the objects like one would intend. Great feedback I will work hard to update these changes post-Jam. Thank you so much
Interesting idea! I think the physics need to be limited a bit and the controls need to be improved. You can make the camera automatically move towards the player when it is not being controlled. It might be worth allowing objects to be placed inside other objects, or making the blocks fit together more closely.
Awesome thanks for the input. Yeah I will have all the objects replaced with new ones that fit more with the concept like bridges to go under/ climb over pillers with poles sticking out and stuff like that. Maybe even add some dynamic objects. Yeah tried to get the collisions close but time was not on my side lol. Also I will implement better physics into the game. We did have no constraint on block placing at one point but you were able to do some crazy glitches to make the physics launch the player but I may play around with that. Thank you so much for the feedback
wonderful game, its definitely something interesting. the only feedback i have is to reconsider controls. well done "submitting" this ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
Thanks will do. Any suggestion on control layouts? I will also have Keybindings when I get the game fixed up after the Game Jam
mouse wheel to change between objects to place, and camera fixed on the player and zoom out when mouse is getting far from the player with some dead zone in mind.
Not a bad demo but def not a fully fletched game YET!
i loved the idea and the concept. but a lot was lacking, just one thing that would have made the game a little better would've been if the camera followed instead of haing to use the arrow keys to move it around. Great Idea and i also loved the character chose screen!
Thank for the feedback and yet I have a lot of room to grow and will implement these once the Game Jam is over. Thank you so much

Thanks and I agree there is definitely much room to expand and fix. Thank you so much for the feedback
Yeah until more content is added your playing entirely with the hope of utilizing the large slab log and small rock lol
