Solid mechanics for such a short period of development. The extra movement cards are a bit overpowered, but could be offset through introduction of more mechanics based on the board position. This design has interesting potential.
Nice game with some good art. I also love game with some plot. I think this worth making into a full game.
Good job.
Well done for a 2 days game! only thing I might have to say is that I'm not quite sure if there is a way to know how much movement points we have left. I might have just not seen it I don't know ?
The art looked amazing and gameplay could be pretty addictive, but unfortunately it was too short for such a complicated game (or I'm too dumb :D), so as soon as I thought I understand how it works, the game ended.
But everything was very well implemented and the interesting story along with thorough tutorial kept me going till the end.
Great job!
Great art! It really makes the game.
Wow, the character design is incredible! I absolutely love the artwork on every character in the game. Great work!
Arts are beautiful. Perhaps to much to read for me (for a jam game). I like the strange atmosphere.
A really nice game! I love the art and the music creates an atmosphere fitting the story. I felt sorry for the humanoid opponent with flowers on their face and happy when reunited with another butterfly :)
The gameplay isn't very challenging, but it's certainly fun and I loved the idea of double cards.
This game reminded me Slay the Spire. Very cool game with great graphics but there's so easy to fight because you can use 2 attack card on enemy, run back on 1 square, end turn and repeat
I agree. I was going to give different enemies different movement abilities, but I ran out of time. Our main inspiration for the game was Slay the Spire, so it makes sense that it would remind you of that.
interesting game, but lacks in gameplay
This is really good for 48 hours! I felt a little lost at times on what to do, but overall it was quite fun!
This is a really unique jam game with an impressive amount of mechanics (combat, card browsing, moving, main menu, story in between rounds) for a 48-hour project. I think it could use some balancing to make it into a true game; as of now I kind of just spam attack. But the foundation for an interesting card game is certainly here. Thanks!
