This was too addictive, loved it!
Challenging and addictive, definitely reminds me of flash games.
That was good fun! Very difficult, reminds me of flash game days.
If you go into it more after the jam finishes, I'd suggest adding a customization tree, with certain abilities you get once you get a mutation. so basically if you mutate, you lose health, but gain an ability of your choice. the abilities could be anything like, your dash makes you impervious to damage, or anything else. Just a cool idea I had lol. Anyway, I think the movement is a bit irksome, but that in itself can be a good thing if its deliberate (ex: getting over it with bennett foddy). Maybe a bit more of a tutorial might have been good, but other than that I like it!
Died, died, died and died (and repeated the process a lot). Didn't beat the game, but I loved the pinball-like feel and various types of enemies. I think it would be great to be able to zoom out the map (not a lot, the surprise of what's next is important) :)

Relation with the theme is tenuous but it's a great game, simple but efficient. A sort of pinball-crawler..

0:50! This was a pain with a track pad, oh my gosh, wish I had a mouse. Like someone else said, doesn't fit the theme that much, however, if you played into mutations more it definitely could! Maybe make mutations more visible, make them affect gameplay a bit? Instead of them just being a contextualization for damage. With more time, I'd say make walls and pits a bit more clear, make those changes to make it more mutate-y, and you have a solid lil' browser game!
0:44 took a few tries. Not seeing the mutation theme in this though.
