Love the graphic and game play. It's a bit intense but overall a good game.

Oh look! What I Attempted making, except I wasn’t skilled enough to! Congrats!

Very cool game! Loved the aesthetics and watching my army march across the battlefield. Definitely can use a little more work on the UI, and I was able to beat the game fairly quickly (perhaps due to RNG) just by brainlessly marching my army to each capital, but the core gameplay loop is very engaging. Hope to see more of it!

Thanks everyone for playing!

Amazing mushroom wars-like strategy! Took me more than an hour to win this but it was a lot of fun. Really good base for a great game but some things to improve as well. Some rebalancing is needed as it's quite difficult to take a lead in the beginning but once you conquer one enemy it's solely about migrating units from capitals to remaining enemies. Upgrades are a nice touch but I never figured out how they impact the units. Do they affect only the ones produced in this tower or all of them? In the end I often forgot to buy upgrades as they didn't seem to make much difference. Also I think it takes too long to get the first upgrade and some instructions would help a lot.

Sorry for a lot of critiques but it's just because I really liked the game and really interested to see how you improve it further. Definitely one of the best games I've played on this jam, top mark for fun and great job! Thanks for making it.

You got it right on the head, we used mushroom wars as our inspiration.  The mutators change any unit that passes through a base.  Once a unit goes through a base it gets a mutator based on the ones equipped on the base.  If up upgrade any of the bases you can equip specific mutators from the list.

We wanted to add an instruction page when you start but we were fighting with build errors that took longer than we wanted which sucked up the time allocated to make an instruction page.

I've already made some changes to the game and will make some updates in the future when I have free time which will require more re-balancing for sure.  Thanks for playing!

Please to see some strategy game. It need some music/sound effect to be immersive. About ergonomy: Gray button are usually associated to deactived button. It need some more hint to play it intuitively, but I'm sure it's just a timeline concern.  Nice mechanism. Great work.

Yeah a lot of the UI issues were there due to time constraints, it was a get it in and working and move on as we had set some lofty goals as does happen.  Thanks for playing!

Neat idea, but could use more info on how to play it properly. Combat is straight forward enough, but I try to send out Collectors, and I see them on the map, but I always seemed to be out of ore.

Developer(+1)

Yeah the collectors have an issue where if they are collecting, they dont "belong" to the base, and so you cant send them out.  As the game is submitted to the jam, units are just made on a timer and each costs ORE to make.  So it takes a while to ramp up.  I've already got updates to production in the project, but the AI then needs some updating to use these new features.  I hope to work more on it in my offtime. Thanks for playing!

I checked out your game, and it's pretty good. I couldn't figure out how to make more collectors? I'm definitely going to keep playing.

Developer

Yep another player mentioned the same issue. Units are made on a timer and use ORE.  Its random which unit gets built based on if the timer comes around when you happen to have enough ore to make a unit.  I am working on the production system and will update the game sometime in the future.  Thanks for playing!

We tested your game during our live stream today, here is a link to the video archive if you wish to see us play your game: https://youtu.be/lIYv6Eer214?t=855

Thanks for playing, we had a few bugs, one you encountered where "New game" broke it.  We wanted to make a "How To" page, but time slipped.  Thanks for streaming was fun to watch!
