I like the retro art style of the game and it is fun to play. For a while I had the feeling that physics was reacting strangely, but once I understood that you can throw yourself if the raycast from the front of the ship hits the other planet, it becomes addictive: 3

Quite a fun little experience! I thought the tying of the control scheme to the theme was a pretty neat idea. The simple controls also lend themselves well to a mobile environment if that's something you're interested in. Your visual theme and consistent art style were spot-on, and I really liked the arcade feel! The difficulty didn't seem to scale super noticeably, but you only had 48 hours to go from nothing to full game, so I can hardly blame you for not having playtested and balanced it to perfection :P

Overall, a neat little game!

Neat little game. The gameplay is a little repetitive, and feels the same at 0 points and 2000 points. Graphics look very nice, I'm a fan of that style, though sometimes it's hard to tell what the full size of the planets are. I would make the game a little more forgiving, maybe making it so that you only die if you leave the top or bottom of the screen. It was a bit frustrating to be on course for a planet that maybe wasn't directly next to me, but still die for it. Overall though, very good level of polish for such a short time frame.

Graphics and sound is neat.

Neat. The gameplay's nice, if a bit monotonous, and I dig the pico-8 asthetic forced onto the graphics and sfx. I appreciate you took the time to write any kind of a story.

Oh, this is actually fun! I like simple but challenging gameplay, graphics and sound FX. I really enjoy how it does the flip. I think it can be developed further. Great job!
