Thanks for the feedback! I agree that making it a single button (or simplifying it in some way) would be an improvement. I haven't come up with any ideas for that yet, but I'd love some suggestions! I'm still working on the game right now, so I'll be looking at improving the controls at some point.

Thanks for checking it out! I had a bunch of ideas for other mechanics (spikes, keys/doors, carrying items between dimensions, manipulating things with the clones, etc) that I didn't have time to fit in. I'm still working on it though, so maybe I'll be able to fit some of those in.

Haha, don't worry about the trackpad, trackpads weren't designed for gaming in the slightest! I was just using a laptop 'cause my desktop was busy updating :P

Note to self, don't try and play mouse based games on a trackpad :P Despite my control handicap I managed to last a pretty decent amount of time, largely because of the very generous galaxy changing that I could use to get out of a sticky situation. It's a neat idea, being able to switch between different galaxies when things get to hairy, but I think it might make sense to tie the scoring to kills, or maybe add some sort of score penalty to switching galaxies. Basically, some sort of incentive to not constantly switch galaxies to avoid having to deal with any of the hazards.

I really liked the work you put into the animated sprites for all of the characters and hazards, I think it really gives a good feel to your game. I especially liked the green eyeball alien, that animation was definitely my favourite.

That's a neat game! Any game is always made better by the addition of jetpacks :P If you wanted to add another dimension to things you could have the characters use their jetpacks to move up/down. At the very least it would give the player something to do when an enemy shoots them, since it seems right now that sometimes you just get blindsided by a perfect shot in the first second of the round. Not frequently, by any means, but it could be a bit of a bummer if it happens late in a run. Overall though, I liked the game and the novel take you had on the theme, incorporating it into the control scheme.

Quite a fun little experience! I thought the tying of the control scheme to the theme was a pretty neat idea. The simple controls also lend themselves well to a mobile environment if that's something you're interested in. Your visual theme and consistent art style were spot-on, and I really liked the arcade feel! The difficulty didn't seem to scale super noticeably, but you only had 48 hours to go from nothing to full game, so I can hardly blame you for not having playtested and balanced it to perfection :P

Overall, a neat little game!

Thanks! I've still got a bunch of ideas for more levels, so just you wait and your wish may just come true!

Thanks for the feedback! It could definitely do with some sounds for sure, and some more variety of platform tiles too. And maybe some hazards of some kind? Oooo, I should write this down...

Thanks so much for the compliment on the animation! This was actually my first attempt at an actually animated character, and while it was a lot of work I had a ton of fun with it.

Thanks for checking it out! I had a bunch of ideas that I didn't have time to put in, so I may just expand it in the near future!

That was quite a fun game! Like most game jam stuff it definitely lacks polish, but so does almost every game jam game (for pete's sake my game doesn't even have sound). I think you've got a great core mechanic in the puzzle/stealth combo and the assimilation ability, you could definitely develop it further if you want to. Given that your player character is an ooze-like thing there are a ton of different ways you could expand on this, maybe with shape changing abilities or being able to mimic furniture? Although you kind of already have this with the hiding in desks.

All in all, great submission folks, I hope to see you at one of these again!

Damn, now that's some pretty sweet polish! The art and music work together quite well, and as a whole it's very well presented. Personally I've never been very good at these sorts of games, but I quite enjoyed playing it none the less. I could definitely see this adapting well as a mobile app.

Really cool interpretation of the theme! And an accurate depiction of my morning commute...

I liked the concept of being able to move in all directions to let you sidestep people and such, but as others have said the mouse controls are pretty hard to manage. If you ever go back and fix it up, I would say probably just have your character point at the mouse cursor would be most intuitive.

Overall, really liked this game! The use of the theme was great, and I would love to see more of this kind of thing!
