The game was very fun, but I faced some difficulties with the camera and controls. It's truly amazing that you managed to do all of this within the jam period! The game has a good difficulty level, not too hard like my game. You can try it if you want
Thank you for your feedback, and thank you for trying it! I will definatelly will take it into account for the future projects. And I actaully already tried, rated and commented your game
It took me a little while to understand the game, but once I did it was really fun! ✨good use of assets, it can be important to pick the right assets that look good for your game 👍
One thing I can say is that I didn't really see a point to the health system for the giant, as the enemies would usually do 1 damage and the fish bone would give 1 health. It would of been better if there was a dynamic fighting system instead of one hit to kill, but this can be implemented after the jam, if continued 👌
Good submission! Gave my brain a good feeling 😂✨
Thank you for playing! And that is a fair critique, yeah, it makes sense to make fighting more dynamic, this is something I will take into account for sure!
Thank you for giving this game a chance, and thank you for your feedback!
After getting used to the unusual controls and camera, this turned out to be a very well thought out and made game. The graphics are very good. My biggest complaint is that after losing a life you start from the beginning. After all, this is a Jam game, so savepoints after each enemy killed would be a much better solution.
Thank you a lot for giving this game a chance! And thank you for your feedback! I thought about checkpoints. I just thought since I made this game very short, it won’t need checkpoints, and also, honestly, I just didn’t have enough time to implement it, but I will definatelly take it into account for future games and make sure I will include checkpoints.
Thank you!
I really struggled with the giant and the camera, i also was unable to get the giant to kill the enemy, but overall i liked the style and the fact that you even pulled this over in the short time span on the jam, i've tried 3d gamedev and it was extremely difficult for even a character controller, kudos to you
Thank you a lot for your kind words! And thank you for your feedback, I will definatelly take it into account and make instructions cleaner and gameplay more intuitive!
i just sat there throwing stones at the giant thinking that i was supposed to defeat it... also when i actually figured out what to do the giant bugged out and wasnt able to kill anything. unfortunate, but i do like the style tho.
The giant is never attack first becaue it is blind, when the enemy attack fist he attack back. In order for the enemy to attack the giant, enemy should see it, otherwise you can jsut avoid unecessery fights.
Thank you for playing it, and thank you for your feedback! I will work on clearer instructions in the future!
First,as a 2d game dev.I amazed how you can do this in the timeframe.Second, I love the concept!Overall a bit laggy(guess this is from my pc lol).Nice game!
Thank you for playing it! And thank you for your feedback. Yeah, 3d development is harder, free assets like KenneyAssets helped a lot, without them I would not have finished it at all
Thank you for your feedback!
What a great game, but it's a bit difficult. I hope you'll try my game and give it a try.
Thank you for playing it!
Have you tried my game? I hope you'll give it a good and fair review.
i don't understand what i should do-
That is bad. I described it on the itch.io page, but in short, you throw stones with the left mouse button, enemies and the giant can hear it, around the enemy and giant, there is a hearing area, which is a semi-transparent grayed area. Enemies have a vision cone; if you or a giant happens to enter it, the enemy will attack you. You need to open all the gates and escape. Only the giant can open the gates by moving close to them.
I hope that is clear, and thank you for playing it!
Really liked the core idea and concept of this game, it's really good. Rate my game if you have time, good work!
Thank you!
Love the idea and the character designs! I had trouble healing the giant, but otherwise everything worked really well. Great work!
Thank you for the feedback! And thank you for playing it! About healing, it is weird because I can’t reproduce that. Healing have some delay after you press F button, becaues of animaiton of healing, maybe that is the problem?
Very cool concept! For me, the main issue was being blocked by the giant and having the walls block the view, maybe a level with wider spaces could be interesting?
Overall good work, lots of potential!
Thank you a lot, for your feedback and playing!
The game is very orgianl i can say but it sometimes buggy when i come to heal the gaints but overall good
Thank you for your feedback! And thank you for playing!
I like the idea of this entry. The gameplay is creative and I think it is fitting to the theme. It could use a bit of polish with controls and maybe adding a main menu/pause menu but it is solid overall.
Thank you for playing it! And I agree with your feedback! I will take it into account for future projects!
Game assets are nice and music is superb. I find that the controls and the camera need improvement. Cool entry!
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for playing it!
Amazing idea but the controls are really wonky and i don't know why i lost when opening the gate, but really nice idea could be made into a full game
Thank you for your feedback! I believe you died because you were standing between the giant and the gate. The giant killed you. Maybe I needed to remove friendly fire.
About controls, yeah, there are some things I would want to improve.
Thank you for playing it!
