Thanks! We felt like giving the mad scientist some personality would help players through the process ✨

This was really cool, being able to generate your own monsters with images ✨

I wish we could pick what moves get used during battle though, feels like I could have played my monster better 😅

Fun game! I liked the music, it was quite comforting while I screamed after falling 😂

The art is also really cute ✨
Great submission! 👌

Thanks for the feedback! ✨We unfortunately only got to test up until the tutorial, the rest was just up to experimentation 😅👌

I really like the pixel art and it's an interesting game mechanic, love how you incorporated the theme. With a bit of polishing I'm sure the movement will feel great. :)

Thanks for the feedback, we wanted to give the game more humor as I don't usually see much in game jams 😅

I should have mentioned it in the dialogue. The day is supposed to end at 00:00, then you would wash in the lab, collect body parts at night and stitch the bodyparts together whenever you had parts.

We were only able to debug up to the end of the tutorial 😅

The art is really cute and simplistic, I like the glowy space vibe. Simple fun gameplay :)

Really cute concept with a fun gameplay loop. The zoomout is quite blurry and the maps are a bit big, it's easy to get lost with just the arrow, but other than that I feel like it has potential.

Fun simple puzzle game with a unique take on the theme :)

I really enjoyed this game! it had a really cool concept for traversing the levels, the music was nice. Don't really have any complaints ✨

Great submission! 👌

It's a really cute idea and the theme is well incorporated. For some reason when my pigeon got the key for level two it disappeared when I dropped it for the human and the camera felt a bit weird.

Really cute graphics and the audio pairs with it nicely. Simple fun gameplay loop.

Cute game, I like the kitty 🐱

At first I wasn't entirely sure how to get across the street, but I got it eventually 😅

Really cute game, love how you're feeding them cookies hehe :)

Cute Game ✨ I like the idea of the lantern warming you up while walking around. I would just make it so it wouldn't collide with the player 👌

Cool idea for a game! ✨

I liked the different pets you could get over time 👌
I think the game was a bit easy, maybe an increase of enemy spawn would help improve that 👍

Good concept, would be nice if I could attack too, they just left me behind and I couldn't enter the next level.

I love the turn based combat, would love to make something similar to this at some point.

Really cute art and animation, the sound track just gave me a lil heart attack on entry cause it's quite loud.

Great job overall! :)

Very cool metroidvania style game ✨

Pros:
Art is incorporated well
Soundtrack is calming
The mechanics for the game were implemented quite well (maybe the ledge compensation could be a bit smaller)
Lighting was quite nice

Cons:
Damage doesn't feel very impactful
It felt a bit cramped, I think the levels could do with more open space
The boss seemed a bit small, I would scale it up some more to make it feel more intimidating

Great submission! 👌

It took me a little while to understand the game, but once I did it was really fun! ✨good use of assets, it can be important to pick the right assets that look good for your game 👍

One thing I can say is that I didn't really see a point to the health system for the giant, as the enemies would usually do 1 damage and the fish bone would give 1 health. It would of been better if there was a dynamic fighting system instead of one hit to kill, but this can be implemented after the jam, if continued 👌

Good submission! Gave my brain a good feeling 😂✨

I love the little cutouts and how you animated them, overall it was a pretty fun and unique concept having to go catch the fishies for other cats. Your audio paired nicely with the style you went for, as previously mentioned by someone else it would just be better to keep all your assets looking the same to keep the vibe the same (like the seaweed being a bit more cartooney and the rest are cutouts)

I had a lot of fun playing it tho, good job! :)

The art is really great, I like the effects. I like the mechanics and the fact that you get power ups over time I just felt a bit useless since I don't attack at all and the wand is firing for me. I also really feel like the vibe of the game would have benefited from a nice sound track.

I think it would have been a good game if there was some sort of reset I can use instead of having to reload my page to try again. It was a good concept, the companion was well incorporated and the grapple mechanic is a lot of fun.

It was a nice concept. The audio is quite loud on entry and I think it would be great if the wasp had some sort of health indicator.

Thank you for playing! :)

Thank you, I'm glad you like it :)

If you start learning development now it will give you a huge head start for the future :)

Thank you for playing  :)

Thank you for playing :)

Sorry about that I tried to mention it everywhere I could, posted it on the game page and discord, gonna work on an end screen asap

Thank you, and thank you for taking the time to play and review :)

We ran a little low on time, we wanted more minigames and the randomizer was supposed to go off to trigger the breaker room as well, so I knwo after the tutorial its a bit dishwashy, we plan to fix this after the jam, as well as making the continue button reveal the text for faster readers in dialogue :)

I like the plot of the game, your reflection being the companion 👌 The dialogue was a bit cutoff so I did struggle to read some of it though. I think it's just some UI scaling issues.

I also got stuck in the room with the chairs.

Cool concept! 👍✨

Thanks for the feedback! ✨ I got the grave digging idea from an old ps2 game called Monster Lab.

We only got to debugging up until the end of the tutorial, but we were already way behind schedule 😅 so there are a few bugs, but you should be able to dig a bodypart from the grave once a day after 17:00. The day ends at 00:00.

I will be sure to go check your game 👌

Thanks for the feedback ✨ we were trying to make a game that felt more cozy with some humor, something different than what people usually play in game jams 👌

Really cool concept for a larger game! 👌Sound are music are good, UI is AMAZING!

I recommend working on this one further.
Also, I didn't find the red portal :(

Didn't really understand the game too well, but the controls were smooth and the music was cool 👍

This was actually a really cool game! I'm impressed by the amount of minigames you finished for it 👌

Good job ✨

This game could be a pretty fun metroidvania if updated 👌 I recommend not adding an animation for the start of your jump, rather do all the animation after that. The jump should feel quick and responsive!

The music is also quite chilled
Good submission! 👍

Really beautiful game, the animations look really cute and its a pretty fun concept.

Especially loved the comic. :)

Good idea for a wave-based game 👌 the art and sound felt great! I think the player was a little op, but that's just balancing. I also didn't really ever use the normal attack.

Cool submission, good job! 👍

The overall feel of the game is really nice, the art, colors and audio really complement each other and I feel like it has a lot of potential. The controls are really hard to get used to making it really difficult to dock and the barge keeps snapping off super easy, so I think if you can tweak that it would be an amazing game.

Great job tho! :)

This one took me a while to figure out, but I finally made it to the top 😂

Fun idea for a game 👍
