what am i saying is mostly just game juice, good game jam can turn even breakout to the most high stakes bullet hell looking game ever but too much makes it too hard to focus and play and too little makes it stiff, but this is a 3 day jam, so its better to leave those things to the last rather than top, but great game
I was trying to drag them and it was a bit slow, maybe if the character wobbles while your holding them it would feel a bit better cause it shows signs of struggle, or if they jolted towards your mouse position forcefully rather than staying on top of it, i mean like, how can i explain it? ever played balatro? if you drag the cards in that game they sort of lag behind and then jolt towards you
I hate to be the one to say this, but try to research on platformer movement, the run was good but the jump and wall climbing were floaty and not grounded, you can take inspiration from celeste. The art style on the other hand is reminiscent of the games i used to play as a kid, so points in hitting my nostalgia
In our game, you can invest in the 'stonks' market and sell back your stonks to gain money or lose it if you sell while the market is crashing. Maybe you don’t want to play fair? Why not bribe people to crash or pump the market? Either way, have fun. Oh, and in this universe, everyone is obsessed with carrots, its like drugs to them.
