I like the sprite graphics, reminds me of 90s PC games.

Ha! I managed to move backwards instead of forward! In all seriousness, very cool game! Would love to see the enemy spawning a bit more balanced though, sometimes there are no enemies at all, and sometimes there is a whole swarm. Either way, really fun game :)

This game is hilarious and I love the attacks. One of my favorite games I've played in the jam. I did manage to get out of the map by bouncing off the wall at the start to get leftward momentum and then flew into space lol. Great game

The music and art is really neat! I enjoyed it. Great job.

Pros

I like the deckbuilding element a lot

The music is cool

The animation of the octopus pulling the lever is awesome

Cons

At level 6 I started moving backwards for some reason, and a whole lot of enemies spawned at once.

Sometimes multiple music tracks played at the same time

Maybe a little slow? I could've just not gotten far enough though I'm not sure.

Hi! Thanks.

Maybe you got hit by a rock or a round mob or something like that. The player is then thrown back according to the laws of physics (conditionally, of course). You can even do it on purpose :)

As for music - definitely not, because I've been catching all the bugs, I've probably played it 100 times. That definitely didn't happen. Well, maybe you're a particularly lucky tester :)

Anyway, thanks for your opinion :)

I see, yeah, the music may have just been something in the background then, I am also quite low on sleep because the jam finished at 5am haha. It's a great game, if you have time could you review mine too?
