I like the slowmotion idea, visuals could be a little better but overall grame is fun and challenging. Nice job!

Great job on your first game jam! The visuals were pretty good and controls weren't too janky. I think with sound it would've been an immersive experience! Only feedback i have is that the guns were mildly unbalanced, like I didn't even need the slow motion at all. But at the same time the enemies being at the level start was also kinda annoying cause you keep dying before getting the items. Still great job though!
It is kinda good but:
The first level for example. which should usually serve as a kind of a tutorial well, it's hard.
I don't personally see the connection between a poison, that most of the time is a negative thing, and slow motion but that's a personal opinion. The idea is still original.
It's fun though and the graphics aren't bad for the type of game it tries to be.
Game is reminding me of old flash/browser games. It is really simple and the game is good. After you get the rifle you kind of just win the game by holding LMB and kill the enemies at a distance.

this was a fun concept, the controls were a bit tricky as switching between hands for movement, and picking item and shooting can be quite troublesome.
i liked your question and because of that i can tell you this
what i can say is (sorry about that but you asked for feedback i'm just telling everything in my mind that can make the game better)
the enemys was easy and i think you can make the game better by making the player poisoned and heal by killing the enemys
add amo to the gun so the player can not just hold left click and use range detection advantege
make the player faster
made enemys that can be killed with more then one shot
add dash to player and knife or katana levels
add some soud effects
fighting music
make the game feal more like retro by adding shaders
add some boss fights
you can make the UI more cooler "it is good but can be better"
Very cool idea! Always fun to see a bullet time mechanic, great work!
Overall it's a fun game, but I didn't feel like I needed the potion at all. Maybe in the future you can add more levels that are so difficult that the potion becomes a must. I like it so far though.
Maybe after the jam you can keep updating it and improving it this would do great, and I would like to play it when it gets more updates and improvements
The game turned out quite interesting, but when I discovered that I just had to press the shoot button and aim in all directions, it was easy to finish the game. If it had sound effects and a shooting cooldown, it would be even more amazing.
It's a fun game, but not challenging enough. Because to pass, literally, you can hold down the "Shot" button. There are not enough sounds, but otherwise everything is fine.
Easy mechanics. But funny for play.
