You labelled that this was a learning project to try out techniques and I can really see that here. I think a lot of what you have here makes for a nice platformer and I think with continued updates this would be a really good game. As is it was enjoyable so that's a really good base to build from!

I found the enemy mechanics to be cool! Really liked how they chase you exclusively when you are in their line of sight, it was really scary to be chased down by a snake-like monster on a tight platform - very cool visuals and mechanic experimentation!

thanks, well the idea for the jam was the player has to collect the remedy potions shown in the ui before time run out or the game world was poisoned and each collected potion buys a little bit more time and will do!
