the animations are really cool, and the game design is great. the only thing that could make it better was some art for the ground, but that's not as important as the characters and animations, which are perfect.
Rated - Oh I like the idea. The controls are smooth, but I would consider changing the harp string keys so a player can run/jump and play at the same time. The character sprites are cool, and I really like the shades animation. Hope you learned a lot this jam so you can improve for your next jam. Great job! Please check out my game when you can. Very fun little game, and an interesting interpretation of the theme :p
I did find it difficult to move and play notes at the same time, but I guess that is also part of the challenge
