I think your tutorial and gameplay need a bit more work.

It was kind of confusing to navigate around the game, that when I thought I made some progress I found myself back to the starting point. Gameplay is a bit harsh, especially in areas where I have such small space to jump, and I had to avoid the spikes so I didn't get damaged.

Nice game! Really like the platforming, art and sound.  The levels were nicely designed too.

The only thing I noticed was that the enemies could hit you from much further away that it looked. This ended up catching me quite a bit.

Otherwise loved it.

Thanks! Yeah, pretty much have to attack from behind. I made their hitboxes slightly smaller than the animations, but it can still be deceiving.

Great Game, I loved it the controls were on point, and the characters are super cute

amazing job.

Wow this was great! Moving felt really crisp and I was impressed with how tight everything felt. The only thing that might have made an improvement was resetting health on death and doing a small period of invincibility after getting hit; I found myself not being able to get off long stretches of spikes in time, and sometimes I'd be down to half a heart with not enough skill to get passed the more armoured enemies and not die again. Balancing needs a little fixing too, otherwise great job, it's a neat little game.

Hey. I have some feedback.

I think that the health/ traps balance at the beginning is more health-focused but once you get into the castle the game starts giving you almost no health. This becomes an even bigger problem because you reduce my health every time/other time I die. Maybe add more health or just make it so that I cant spawn with less than 3 full hearts?

Also, I think you should make it so that when I take damage I just get I-frames.

Another suggestion: make it so that whenever I dash I face the enemy again. This is a thing Dead Cells does and it really just makes the game feel soooo better.

Also, the cannonballs balls have a hitbox that feels super cheap.

Additionally, the boss feels kind of unfair for just randomly turning and not telegraphing its attacks ngl.

One last thing, don't make the enemies "hide" behind bushes ( Pre-Castle stuff ) and LET ME USE WASD AAAAAAA.

Pretty good game.

Good job beating it!

Will definitely do some tuning now that the jam is over (and in color). Thanks for the feedback.

My god! The map design is absolutely phenomenal!

I really loved the character's controls! The snappy movement is something I look for in every game, and the fact that your character jumps only 3 and a half of haif height in 1 jump is super cool.

Really gives an awesome responsive feel to the game, and you are able to put your character precisely where you want him.

Marvelous Job :)
