My best score has been 80000 points.

Very strong theme implementation here, I like it, ghost enemy doing what you did yet you need to use your bullets to kill enemies or they'll get to overwhelming you.

The game controls well, enemies have plenty of different cool bullet patterns to propose and they're some cool upgrades, like the double barrel shotgun, this one helped me a lot during my most successful run, it's much better to actually defeat enemies while not being the worst to avoid from the ghost, while the ones shooting all around you are the exact opposite, they never make enough damage to defeat the enemies while being really annoying from the ghost, I like that I preferred one weapon over another, that's interesting. Finally the difficulty is pretty much perfect for me, I enjoyed dodging various patterns in this one.

That's a cool entry, thanks for sharing.

EDIT: After being given proper instructions on how to start the game, I took the time to play four rounds! Spectral Repercussions is a fun space themed bullet hell with a variety of enemy bullet patterns. The player is given 3 different types of shooting abilities, which I found to be helpful in taking down specific enemies.

I really enjoyed how consequences was implemented into the enemy attacks to mirror the player's very own. I had to think strategically about where and how often to fire. I could not progess very far but from what I could do, made for a good bullet hell experience overall.

One note I enjoyed was the VFX for the player taking damage. Satisfying despite my poor abilities haha.

Well done!

Hi, thanks for taking a look! If you were trying to use mouse, the controls are for keyboard only, with the arrow keys to navigate menu options and Z to confirm, X to cancel. Z/X/C/Shift to shoot and slow down movement. Hopefully that works out

Oh perfect; yes I was using my mouse to select the buttons. I'll update my parent comment with a proper review! Thanks!

Thanks for giving it a try! Yeah, looking back on it the difficulty could have been adjusted better, but I'm glad you found it entertaining!

The screenshots make this look super fun but I'm on Mac so I can't play it. Not sure what engine you're using but if you can export to HTML5 i think you'd get a lot of interested players!
