Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
I used some of Gdevelop's extension, they are ShakeObject, PanelSpriteButton, DialogBox, AutoTyping, PanelSpriteContinuousBar. IsOnScreen. and FireBullet

This was fun, took me 2 tries.

I like the artsyle and look of the character and love the music. Multi-phase bosses are cool and the controls feel good, the bullet patterns are good and distinct, the speed of the character and bullets feel right and the game offers a moderate yet fun challenge.

Cool game, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed

I like the unique animations for each attack, and that the aimed attack is signaled by a crosshair on the player. The latter is kind of redundant since the aimed attacks are slow anyway, but it's still a nice touch. In the same vein, I like the symbols on the dynamite.

The game is not super exciting since the fight drags on for a bit and is relatively easy, but these little quality of life touches go above and beyond what is expected in terms of making the patterns easy to read, so good job on that.

For such a succint package, it's really got everything going for it. I really enjoyed how the pace of the boss increased as bullets were spent, and the sound design especially was really well done!

Developer

Thank you for enjoying your time! I'm especially glad you enjoyed the sound design.

Very cool boss fight, I really like the idea and it was very fun to play. I really like the art and the story intro, it really sets up the mood and also makes the boss fight way more epic, even more with that great drop at beggining of the song, it made me want to restart just to hear it again hahahaha Probably the only thing I missed is that it was faster and longer, and also that the music was louder. But in any case, great job and I hope I get to see more from this story in the future!

Awww thank you!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! If you want to listen to the music without replaying the game, it'll be uploaded on my youtube channel in 2 days, to save you the time. I'll be sure to remember your feedback for the future!

Once you get into the action it’s really fun. I’d probably speed on some of the transitions like between rooms. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I'll remember it for the future! Also, I'm glad you had fun!

I really dig this! I like this interpretation of the theme quite a bit, makes for an interesting style of boss fight. And the character designs, artwork, and music really bring the thing together. The background maybe got a little difficult to look at after a while, but that's just me being nitpicky. Overall, this is really well done!

Developer

Thank you for the compliments and glad you enjoyed! I didn't realize the background may have been difficult to look at for some people, so thank you for pointing that out! I'll definetly remember that for the future.

Took me a while to realize you need to press space at the start but after that I got stuck right in!

The music was great and I presume you made it yourself and it fit the game really well! Controls felt good and it was challenge but I did survive all 500 bullets.

It did feel a bit unfair how quickly the enemy/boss would teleport and then start shooting but on my second play through I got it! Great game!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I only picked up on the fact that players might not realize that they needed to press space when it was already too late. So I probably should have play-tested way before (or at all for that matter). Also thank you for enjoying the music! I did make it myself, glad you enjoyed it!

There were a couple instances where I wasn't sure if I was frozen or supposed to press space. Other than that it was really fun, loved the boss fight and the music

Developer

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed! I would've fixed that issue if I knew how to and my brain wasn't filleted, fair point to bring up tho

Nice little concept. A lot of story before getting into the action, but once I got into the boss room the pace really picked up! Good job

Developer

aww, thank you for playing and enjoying!
