Hey, happy to say I completed the game. Congrats on finishing the project! Had to rename a few files, but that got me through it, no problem. Nice short experience, and yes, very creepy. If you did that custom art, awesome! It added a nice little creep factor, especially the ending. Sound design was good too. I also appreciated the decent eventing, especially in the beginning. Scenes were communicated well, and there was a lot of character motion.

So yeah, the missing assets are really going to make it hard for a lot of people to play this and give it a good shot, so definitely always test your deployed version. Lots of other little bugs detracted from the immersion a bit, but it worked well enough for a play through.

Polish this up after the jam, and you've got a really nice short horror story.

EDIT: I played again to explore all the choices. Got the jam, got the good(?) ending. Also went outside with the key and errr yup. You put some pretty awesome stuff in here, unsettling as it is. Hope more people can check it out!

Thank you so much for playing my game. I was having issues deploying it, and I found out after getting rid of spacing in words that it was the "#" I was sent for voice overs lol.  Yes, I've been working on the game since voting day started, I can't wait to share it when I'm done. Again thank you! :D

I'm sorry to say it, but this game is just too broken for me to get through. The original version was busted for me right away as the bird chirping ambience was misspelled, followed by the missing baby image. I tried the patched version, but even with that I get stuck on the cutscene with the racoon because I walked to the left side of the garbage can.

Developer

I'm sorry the game broke, but thank you for playing.

Hey, I hate horror games. yours is more like a thriller and i enjoyed a lot. It had a few bugs here and there but I could run all of it. Good pacing and good length . The ending is cool, did not saw that coming =) Nice entry!

Thank you so much! :D

This game is bugged! Here is a playable version here

I tried to unload a HTML version but it wasn't working.

Yeah, I got the BGS error as well. It's a filename issue.

This can be easily fixed by players:

1) Navigate to the www/audio/bgs folder

2) Add a space to the file 'SunnyDay', so that it is 'Sunny Day'.

3) Enjoy the chirping birds :)

Bisquits, looks like there's a missing image in the babies room:

Well, sorry I couldn't play through. I liked the sprites, maps, and dialog I was able to experience for what it's worth.

Developer

Oh, thank you for playing. I put instructions on how to fix, I should've put it somewhere out here. >.< Again thank you :)

Well, I couldn't see much of the game. There where some sound loading issues and I got stucked in the loading screen after entering a room in the house. But I like the lip movement on the potrait and the dialog.
