Pretty awesome. I Liked that you could shoot in four directions, Nice platforming and that random mutation system was a nice idea. Great music. 

This game was a lot of fun, I actually played it on stream last night! Those little squirt guns were kicking my butt! I think the biggest thing I would have liked was a passive health regen. I got lucky once with the mutator but I was already at 90% health when I got it. Other than that the DNA mutation screen popped over the first time I saw the boss(?) dude with a shotgun, and there wasn't really a way for me to see where the murder was coming from, haha! But awesome game! Love the randomness and the enemies! We also used the godot engine in our game, how'd you like it?

There were a couple of things I really liked here. There was a faded out face I think in the background - just barely noticeable. I liked it, not sure why.

The upgrade selection animation - with the music slowing down...that was really cool and added a cinematic feel to the moment. I wish the play had paused or slowed down while it happened as well so I could pay more attention to it.

The boss seemed a bit tough, though I suppose it depends on your upgrades!

Cool game!

Great start!  Platformer controls felt good!  Work on it some more if you have the motivation, potential is there!  I would encourage you to switch the colors too, gameboy green always hurts my eyes after a few minutes haha.  (maybe it's just me??)  please check out 'Puma Cat' if you have spare time~

I wasn't very lucky with the mutations I got. The idea is great very fun game. More maps would be cool (if you ever plan on working more on it).
