The red room is literally unplayable. You have to kill everyone on a fire lake. The platforms keep getting smaller and the red enemies practically fill the entire screen to the point that it's almost impossible to defeat them.

And of course the usual : Terrible sprite rendering, broken controls, and of course a lot of sudden death from doing nothing.

Loved the music and that you were able to add multiple weapons. I did think the game was very unforgiving though. Enemies can shoot threw walls, the player can only be hit once, there was little warning when an enemy was going to attack and you had to be facing the direction you wanted to swing your sword. I think it might have been a bit better to have a health bar that the enemies chipped away at and it would be a bit easier if the sword attack went the direction your mouse was pointing. Overall fun and cool concept and with a couple changes I think could be really addicting!

This a really cool game but I couldn't finish one level because it's to hard.

Nice game! Music is very epic. I was a bit confused on what to do in general and the enemies catch me very quickly, but like the aspect of the game overall.

Nice style and format. Perhaps a bit to tricky though, really struggled to survive for long in the blue zone. And the Red zone I couldn't work out what to do after collecting the thing in the centre.
Perhaps needs a bit more player support, especially early on.

Well done though, lots created there in the time! :)

Nice gauntlet-type Indiana Jones-like dungeon game! I liked the music and the way it changed intensity when you entered the rooms with enemies. The enemy AI worked but it was very hard to avoid them. For some reason I couldn't get my hands on any weapons, which seemed to be blocked by coloured rectangles, so might be something to check/playtest. Apart from that, I would recommend some kind of animation on death rather than skipping straight back to the start of the scene.

Hi, thank you so much for the feedback. In order to get the weapons you need to beat the rooms with the corresponding color, once that is done the block should disappear, are those not functioning as described here for you? they seem to be working on my end.

Ah, okay, now I get it. Thanks for clarifying :-)

Strangely addictive game and very addictive music.  Seemed to clearly be an Indiana Jones type adventure.  At first I forgot I had dash, so the game made more sense once I started using dash.  Was also more fun once I had the sword.  The sword was a little hard to use because of the reset time, this made it feel like you had to time your swing carefully since you could not swing again for a bit.  'B' key is a little out of the way for shield skill when using WASD, I'd recommend E or F instead since they are easier to reach while using WASD.

I also felt that I was experimenting to see what the colored boxes did, but your rez points and respawn speed was so generous it wasn't really a problem to figure out what not to touch.   Also enemies moved pretty fast leading to lost of deaths, but again, the penalty wasn't harsh because of easy rez.

For the room selection, I recommend you have an specific order to go through...maybe you do because some were locked, but at the start you could go in either upper left or upper right.  upper right was a better first experience as the upper left room seemed a little more buggy.

I did experience that sometimes when dying in the upper left room, that the walls would still be there after respawning.  After respawning in that room too many times, I also lost my sword.  I really enjoyed the phase where you dash over the lava and avoid arrow traps....and then the famous Indiana Jones moment...but not for me.

Good art and music.  nice work laying out the tiles.

Great submission, keep it up.

Your game has a really interesting idea, but I found it be prohibitively hard. I really liked the art and sound effects as well as the overall vibe.
