You are tasked with bringing an end to the King's rein of terror and start a new beginning.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote every piece of code, I made some of the art and audio but most of the stuff was downloaded from opengameart.org. All creators from all websites have been credited accordingly.

How many hours did it take to code this game?
Nice game, feels really cozy. But the attack speed is a bit too slow to my taste.

nice simple game, the animations are very cool and all the hitboxes seem to work well. i guess since everything is pixel art but the knight people aren't its a bit of a contrast, which makes them very easy to see but doesn't mesh well with the art style, so that could be a thing to watch out for. other than that good game.

Oh Hey, I played and rated you game yesterday and I love it. the graphics are amazing. it was just a bit hard to keep track of the player ship. Id love it to be just a tiny bit bigger. over all, I love it.
Missing Linux and Mac executables
it's a windows, Mac and Linux standalone build. I don't think that It requires any other executables. I'm not sure. I'm sorry about that but that gives me something to check out, thank you.
I only see an .exe which is for Windows

I wish there were checkpoints, I got to the end I think but died before I could kill the King, and I didn't want to start all the way from the beginning again. But the game was fun!
I thought about that. I should've just went my instinct and added checkpoints. Thank you for your feed back, sorry about that. lol
