How does you game fit the theme?
Are we alone in the universe? Is there life out in space?
It exists, and it's chasing you.
But don't worry, you can disguise yourself among the crowd. You're not alone, after all.
But even in the crowd, you are not the only YOU who are not alone.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
99% of code from scratch, reutilized some small functions from other projects I own.
The tables, bottles, chairs and pizzas were found online.

Great game and Nice concept!
Ok, I have a lot of things to say. First, great idea, the game is super good and now I'll tell you what I liked and what I think should be improved. The best thing is the audio, both sfx and music are top tier in this jam. Did you make the music? If yes, great work, I am a composer and I can tell when someone is skilled, and making basically a single ost and remixing it depending on the game section to make it work is something that requires skill. Loved the dialogues and the comedy behind them, the graphics are good, the gameplay is good, everything to be honest is impressive, but now let's talk about what in my opinion has to be improved:
-Please, insert a key to make the dialogue go faster. Those dialogues were so fun and I would never skip them, but they're definitely too slow.
-The game is more chaotic than it needs to be, and I'll explain what I mean; in the second puzzle I often had trouble identifying my current character, so it would be great if there was a way to enlighten it in the crowd (besides of course the light when they spot you, which isn't really a good sign ahah).
And that's all, you have currently one of the highest scores between the games I voted (about 50), so that means you did a very good job. Keep it up.
Thank you very much for your time and feedback! We are very glad to hear you enjoyed it :D we will keep those notes in mind if we get the chance to improve the game in the future!
Good work! I need focus to get the game but your story telling is fine and helpful
That's wonderful to hear! Thank you so much!
Fantastic idea and original game loop! I assume that the learning curve is now a little steep, but it didn't stop me from giving it my all. This already has a really impressive build. I believe you have a really interesting game on your hands, but it may use some level design adjustments and perhaps player experience updates (perhaps showing the current player's clone). superb work Would you please rate my game and provide some feedback if you have the time? If not, at least assist a few of the individuals listed under "need for rating." You decide entirely, so keep up the fantastic game development.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play it! I'll check yours too no doubt!
I couldn't go very far, because the game softlocked me in the second room unfortunally: after pulling the lever, the narrator says "IT'S" and the movement is locked permanently, even if I spam spacebar and the console reads :
FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.ThrowOverflowOrFormatException
If you have a solution for that, I would gladly appreciate because your game seems truly unique!
Just from the first two rooms, I can't believe the little details you put into your game: the sound of the narrator, the humor with the reaction to the playing going too fast, the graphics... Please keep me updated if there is a solution, or an updated version!
Oh wowie that's a weird bug. I'll make sure to check up on that once the jam is over! Thank you so very much for such a detailed feedback, though!
If that can help, I did a video showing exactly what the bug looks like, with the console opened :
Don't hesitate to tell me if you do an update, or if you find a workaround to make the game work (it seems that some people didn't have the bug, so maybe there is something I can do to progress further ?)Super fun concept and a unique game loop!
I take it the learning curve might currently be a bit tough, but that didn't stop me from trying my best. What's here is already a super impressive build. With some tweaking to the level design and perhaps updates to the player's experience (perhaps highlighting the current player's clone), I think you have a super entertaining game on your hands. Great job!
P.S. Would you mind checking out and rating my team's game? I'd super appreciate it!
Thank you so much for your feedback Bear Jake! Really appreciate you taking your time to try it!
I'll make sure to give yours a try too!
The idea is interesting but I found it too difficult. You can't really plan a strategy because the alien AI doesn't act in a predictable manner. I found myself just trying to spam as many clones as I could in the hopes that one of them doesn't die trying to hit the lever.
Thank you so much for the feedback, and also for trying it out!
Very creative idea.
Thanks Ding!
This game looks really good, but unfortunately there are some bugs where I cant move after dying or after skipping dialogue.
Are you sure this didn't happen when it said "Movement disabled" in the lower right corner, during the tutorial?
Yes, but it didnt go away after the tutorial
