How does you game fit the theme?
yes
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes
Holy Cow, you did this in a week? Amazing!
the simple loop of planting, gathering and upgrading is quite addictive, the pixel art is beautiful and you even have a mine with a decent scene transition. The aliens keep you on your feet and hold up the tension. Brilliant. I envy you for the quality of your your game.
The tiniest improvement was the click range when harvesting. That felt odd sometimes but we're talking QoL at the last 2% of perfection.
Awsome game i love that genre!!! Well done, it gave me the feeling of stardew! <3
its a realy fun game, played it for like 2 hours straight. I love the graphics and style and the concept is also pretty cool!
Awesome soundtrack. Really cool idea. Couldn't gather stone to fully enjoy it.
Wooooooooooooooooow one of the best game I've played so far! Strangely enough, the "UFO" angle was not used a lot in the jam, but your take is truly original!
The art is really good, the music is very fitting, the ambiance is outstanding and the gameplay is a lot of fun! Yeah, there are some bugs here and there and the game lacks a little bit of polish, but come on, for a 7 days jam, that's a LOT of work, and a lot of love you've put in a game.
My only true complain is about the controls, I didn't really enjoyed the mouse interactions, I would have prefered a keyboard-only solution, but that's just some nitpicking.
Honestly, even without the jam context, this is a very unusual twist for a farming game, and I would love to see it expanded, with more incentive to go farther from the farm and some defense mechanism to allow us to gain some time. Please, please, ping me if you update the game. With some more content and polish, that could go to Steam, and be a great success!
Congratulations, you can be proud of yourselves!
i really love the alien soundtrack on this game. i even let my cow get kidnapped. overall nice one :D
Loved it! Especially the art style. I used pixel art as well.
If you don't mind, could you play and review my game? I need some constructive criticism lol.
Great game ! I forgot I was playing a gamejam game for a moment ^^
Love the pixelart. Gameplay is compelling, good old get money to get more stuff to get more money, I'm in ! My only nit picking would be that I wish it was a bit easier to click on the crop to chop it, trying to do it fast leads to a lot of missclicks.
Excellent entry.
I'm not sure if there's an ending to this. This game is good, but there is just too much clicking sometimes but overall, the game looks beautiful. Good job.
I really had fun playing your game, but it is a lot basic gameplay. Thought I enjoyed playing it till the end ! Great job !!
Standard idle/farming stuff wrapped up in a nice package. Shame there isn't much interaction with the aliens, they just run off when you get close.
Think i had a bug where the ufo stole my cow but then incaded again but didnt appear.
Wow! The game quality here is simply off the charts. I really, really enjoyed the gameplay loop (obviously very similar to Stardew Valley) and the art is amazingly well done. My only issues would be that
a) It isn't really clear what the "end game" is here, so to speak. What is the player trying to achieve? Is it just to upgrade the barn to the highest level they can? If so, that should be made a bit clearer.
b) The connection to the theme is somewhat loose.
Other than that though, the game is loads of fun, so good job!
