How does you game fit the theme?
It has a Real / Not Real reveal mechanic

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all the code, all assets (me and my wife) except the music for which I have the proper license and some CC0 sound effects.

It was difficult to understand at first, but it was quite fun once I understood it.

Developer

thanks, I'm happy you had fun playing it :)

I think its fun staying in real mode the whole time even if the mechanic isn't balanced.

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)

interesting concept! was a bit hard to understand at first but after a while it made more sense, but staying in real mode makes the game a bit too easy. making your energy drain was a good attempt at balancing, but it doesnt do that much tbh

maybe add some kind of time limit to it? that would've balanced things a bit more i think

thanks for playing :) the idea was to use up "fuel" much faster then you can catch the things in the real view, but I broke the balancing before the final export :D

yeah, it was a good way to balance things but stuff like that happens haha

Nice music selection! The game was really fun though the real/not real statuses was not properly balanced. As some users already pointed out you can win the game by just being in real model. Love the end with super duper fast pompoms.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. Indeed balancing is way off due to my last minute change :D its should be better in the next version, once I'm allowed to upload it :)

I didn't understand the point of the mode with all the pompoms, and just stayed in real mode the whole time, but reading the description about it being a memory game and reading the comments about balancing issues, I'm guessing the real mode is supposed to time out, in which case it's a neat idea. Anyway nice work~

Indeed balancing is way off due to my last minute change :D The idea was that you are to change back and forth between Real and Not Real views. In Real you can see which PomPom is actually going to give you points. Being in this view supposed to cost you too much "fuel" so you need to switch back to Not Real view and remember where were the PomPoms you need to catch & avoid the other PomPoms which will decrease your "fuel". I already have a balance update and will upload it after the Jam voting period is over. Thanks for playing :)

Did I win?

This idea has potential, but I didn't see any reason to ever switch to the Not Real side. Maybe I missed something. I love the music and sounds!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, definitely you did :D And you are right, the balance is off due to my last minute change in the timers, but the lack of time to playtest them... I've already made balancing changes, but I cannot upload the new version until the voting is ongoing. Thanks for the feedback :)

Really nice one! Pretty fun gameplay, liked the way it goes out of control at the end :D The only thing I'd like to mention is disbalance in the gamedesign. I "finished" this game without ever switching to "not real" game view.  Nevertheless, I had fun :D

Developer

I'm glad you had fun playing it :) The balancing is indeed off in this version, already took a look at it and will update the game once the jam upload freeze is over.
