i loved the little nosy birds. i really appreciate when games do little things like this for a start button instead of a lame "click and you start the game" - your take on the theme is uniqe, so bonus points for that. i too would wonder "whys this fake human here?? there isnt even any crop for me to eat, who put this here?"  - also your games icon fits the game quite well, its these little polish bits, and also the high quality birb animation i love to see.

Yeeeees, I love the artstyle. The gameplay is simple and the overal game just reads well, very intuitive. Also soundeffects are spot-on and the animation style so satisfying. The connection to the theme is a little far fetched but the fact that you made up a little story for that completely makes up for it in my opinion. Overal a great example for an amazing gamejam submition. Great job!

10/10 would play again ;)

I have never seen something like this! I love how you only made the birds and the score colored, this way the player knows where to look at. The theme was not really there I think but maybe I'm just missing something.

Nonetheless, great game with really clean and catchy visuals!

Really good idea ! The theme is a bit far-fetched, but I can see why it fits, so why not ^^. The game was simple, but very, very, polished : the animations, the sound, the interactive menu, the difficulty... Congratulations =) !

Nice one. I could not figure out how to start the game (I already had shot everywhere but at the startbutton), but when I read here in the comments how to do it, I really enjoyed the idea and the game.

Cool game. I would recommend putting the slingshot slightly higher, my mouse kept going of game screen and not shooting the rock. Other than that, good game. :)

The game looks great! The controls play really well too. Hitting the birds felt satisfying and I found myself playing a few rounds after my first one. Great stuff!

Simple, but would work great as a mobile game. Really nice work on the art and animations. Only feedback I can think of is some powerups floating by that you could hit would spice up the gameplay a bit. Nice work!

Loved the game and the hand-drawn art you made, absolutely amazing! If I were making your game though, I'd add a trajectory path so you can see where you're gonna hit, I kept missing the birds 😅
