Music is good and I liked the art style. I wish the wall teleport mechanic was used or encouraged more in actual gameplay, more often than not I used it by accident rather than intentionally. Otherwise some gameplay sounds (for things like hitting rocks, picking up collectibles, etc) would be nice, and maybe some simple particle effects or trails would really add to the whole thing.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game play is very chaotic as obstacles come from every direction which requires you to act fast
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, except the music everything is made by me

Nice Music and graphics! Appreciate this game if it is your first game! Ofcourse there is a lot of scope for improvement(like the innovation). Anyway, I enjoyed it!
Pretty good. I liked that it wasn't too punishing to hit an obstacle. Simple but clean art style. Good music. Could use some audio effects for collecting stuff and hitting rocks. Please check my game too :)
Simple, short, and fun, good design not making player feel bad when he make a mistake, and it was quite a satisfying "space snake". As I'm lazy and not into tutorials I was bit surprised to use space but not for long, and flying around was feeling pretty decent!
a very simple and good game only thing is can't you replace the blue cluster with something else like an asteroid, or maybe some sound effects like a 'boom' sound when you hit the blue cluster
good game :D
I really liked this game one complaint is that enemy spawing is a bit too much but thats basically it
Pretty cool, it felt chaotic and fast-paced, but the controls felt a bit unintuitive.
still was kinda fun!
Quite cool game, but the game gets limited until a certain point its not possible to get higher score, maybe increase the room area after some achievement, or add some powerups in the game, maybe one could be a temporary gun that can destroy those weird balls, or a slow motion powerup. Great music and neat graphics. Good job!
I thought the gameplay was really tight I actually quite liked the movement mechanic. Short and sweet kind of game! At first I thought the obstacles were a one hit kill, but then I realized they only decrease your score which actually is nice cause it gets crowded quickly.
Good job!
Extremely fun game! This is perhaps one of the first ones I have encountered in the jam (mine included ;)) that was "truly" chaotic. The music was quite good too, although getting the bolts/being hit by the blue circles felt kind of weightless due to the absence of any sound effects. The tutorial and story was a nice touch. Good job!
Very fun game :D, I really liked the art and gameplay is nice, I would say some sfx would do wonders for the game but overall very cool <3
Wow this is great for a first game :O Here are the things you can improve :
- Sound effects for getting hit, picking items etc.
- When getting hit give the player a visual response like flickering the player or changing their color.
- Spacebar for movement is a bit awkward maybe use mouse left or make the ship always move?
- The camera is a bit clunky if you put your mouse in center of the player camera spins like a beyblade maybe :D maybe you can use the cinemachine camera.
Overall i liked this game i hope you work on this after the jam would like to see how it will evolve :]
Nice work !
>yup the the first two points were something I had in mind but I ran out of time and barely even submitted the project :)
>Yeah the more I played after the jam the more I felt that too..confining all the controls to the mouse would be great!
>I did use the cinemachine camera ! Was there a feature to avoid that kind of behaviour ? :0
>I'll surely work on it after the jam and make more major changes :D. thank you for the detailed report on the game it helps out a ton :)
