The game features a 'Chaos Meter' where the more kills the player gets, the more chaos is unlocked such as bouncing bullets and explosive ammo.

great game, really well done with everything, only bug i found was that you could bypass the reloading i think by just shooting a lot and having spare amo, but it didnt take away from the gameplay in any way. really well done, and love the idea of 12 cannon games in a year
Thanks for the feedback! One of the chaos level abilities is to fire bullets from the reserve rather then the clip, so I think happened to you.

One of the most satisfyingly fun games I've tried so far in the jam! The shotgun felt especially meaty with the sound design and screen shake. And as soon as I hit anarchy I got into a flow that felt great, right up until I ran out of ammo haha. Does this game exist in a larger universe? I kinda feel like the epilogue went over my head. But really fun game!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and yes, it is part of a larger universe. I gave myself a challenge to do 12 games in 12 months with 1 story to link them all. I'm currently 8 months in and am still going strong!

Now this is the exact game that I'd think of when it comes to a chaotic bullet hell type game! The gameplay is so clean, fun, and chaotic! Had such a blast playing through this one, huge props!

This game was super fun and really chaotic. I couldn't stop playing! The art style was really charming and reminded me of some retro flash games. However, I kept running into some bug where the character got stuck on the side.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Can you give me any additional details on the character getting stuck on the side? Is the character getting stuck on the walls? On enemies? Is there a specific place on a map where it happens?
Oh yeah sure! I kept getting stuck on the bush walls outside of the house!
