I absolutely love the concept, the intro was great and the graphics are just fine. But the game has such a slow pace, and the going back and forth always on the same path makes it really boring. We could have a faster walk speed and some challenges on the way, and the talking part could be more fleshed out, with better options. This can become a really good, unique game!

I would really appreciate if you could also play and rate my game, I'm looking for feedbacks! Thanks!

Really nice intro. Nice music as well. My only problem is the lack of lightning. I got stuck somewhere and didn’t know what to do

I like the story aspect of this game. But there were still many problems with it that made it hard to play well. First, there's the character movement which was quite janky and slow, as well as the hitboxes, so that made the platformer part a little harder to play. Then the mechanic of talking to people didn't quite make sense since the words didn't fit together so the replies don't make any sense either, although they do seem to serve a bigger story which I like, but the gameplay just doesn't fit. The dialogue was also too slow with the letters coming out one by one, but the sounds were cool. I like the platformer aspect and the talking aspect and how they work together, but I think just executed not that well so with polishing it would be able to tell the story you want to tell better. But I do think this is a pretty cool game that just needs some working on.

Would also appreciate it if you played our game, thanks!

Like the art. I kept getting stuck though and it was a tad dark in many places.

Good job and effort.

If you have another person and a controller available to plugin please check out my game!

Love the premise, but I wasn't lead through the game well and got confused often. The art and music and voice acting is great.

The opening premise and cutscene were really well done and had me really hyped but... this didn't quite meet that expectation that was set. The repetitive platforming and lackluster controls felt really out of place compared to the core mechanic of "inciting unrest". And then the actual conversation system was so obfuscated that I had no idea what I was doing. A tutorial would have done wonders. And the dialogue speed was way too slow. The pacing overall was a bit too slow. That art and music was great though. They did a lot of work to sell the atmosphere. I still want to see this story told, though. Good job team, well done and congrats on completing the jam!

Thanks for your feedback! In hindsight I would've scrapped the platformer and polish the dialogue more.

I love the idea and the little Banjo Kazooie style noises that the townpeople made. Would have liked to see more variation in gameplay though. Maybe make a different trek back each night, or randomly select from a pool of levels to make heading back more fun. I also couldn't tell if there was any way to determine what was the right thing to say to each character.

Really good idea! Maybe you should adjust the movement a little tho.

The cutscene and initial sound design were super hype!

But the game itself was not quite as hype.

Going through the same map over and over each day gets pretty  repetitive and it doesn't help that the goblin is really slow to control.

Talking to the villagers is really long and the sound kind of annoying to sit through and kinda broke the atmosphere to me

I personally think the game is  very good but i think it is very repetitive. i like the mustache and has very much great pertential. (no speeling mstakes here btw)

A faster gamplay could improve the game by a lot! :)

The game idea is very creative, but the gameplay is a little dull :( nonetheless still a great game with great potential :D

The idea of provoking citizens to revolution is pretty cool. But playing the same level of platforming every day is a little bit annoying.

Nevertheless Good Job.
