In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player has to rewind the cassette tapes to make them in sync, in order to progress in the game.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. All the code was original and the majority of the assets were designed from scratch.

Looks amazing, greats graphics. But I don't figure out if I am really get the mechanics and interacting properly to rewind, I really don't know what I am doing because rewinding sometimes seems to work, others not. And the two cassettes sounding at the same time its a bit annoying, but I understand it is coherent with what is happening.
The Rewinding is a bit slow when you press and hold it, but I will add some visual feedback to show that it is rewinding.
It does sound weird when the two cassettes play at the same time, so I added the Volume slider on the Boombox in case the sounds are too much.
Thanks for the feedback!
Kinda of confusing mechanics at first, game design, audio and theme are amazing.
Really amazing idea and the art style and visuals are amazing although the main mechanic is kind if confusing to figure out even. Overall great game given the time frame
Interesting concept! Good job.
Really neat idea! Like others, I had a difficult time with combining the cassettes. At the first glance, I thought it was going to be like those mobile games where you merge 2 things to get a bigger thing, merge bigger things to get an even bigger thing, and there's no end to it but it turned out to be fairly different from that. Well made for the time frame!
Thank you!
I recently noted on the page that the Rewind Player wasn't working properly, so you would have to play the PC version. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The rewind part doesn't work in the browser version so I initially had the same issue as others here. Once downloaded and running the Windows version it was heaps of fun!
Thank you!
I didn't realized that the Rewind Player in the browser version of the game didn't work properly.
It's really difficult to figure out how to combine two cassettes. The tips tell you that you need to combine them, but doesn't tell you how, so I didn't even get past the first level. But from a first look, the art is really nice and the music is even better. Love the soundtracks. But you do need to clarify how to play the game for new payers. Great job and good luck!
I only realized late that the Rewind Player in the browser version of the game doesn't work properly, although the PC version works fine.
Sorry for not making the instructions clear enough. I have added some more explanations on the Game's page.
I tried to figure out how to combine/sync the two casette, but couldn't. I had the 2 types of the same color, had the rewind button clickable, but nothing happened. What did I miss? Nice artwork, and great concept by the way!
You actually have to click and hold the Rewind button until the music synchronizes and merges the cassettes.
I will add more explanations on the Game's page. Sorry I didn't make the instructions on the gameplay clear.
