How does the game fit the theme?
You must risk dying to gather more biscuits, to bring back to the Mug and spend on upgrades.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Basic character controller and some other code was made by me before the jam for other projects.

I love the big mug's face :)
It said to press Q to go back, but that just did not do anything for me, I could just play on or die.Did I miss something?
Oh yeah, you have to hold it for a bit. Sorry if that was unclear. I'm very glad you enjoyed the Mug's face, he truly is a beautiful creature.
Really nice game! The art looks very polished and I love the mug's silly face. I felt like it was a bit hard to hit the enemies and I would've liked to be able to fire faster, or maybe I just need more practice haha! Another nitpick I have is that the text is a bit small and hard to read. Overall, really great work, and I hope you expand on this game in the future!
Thanks I'm glad you liked it. I was thinking of adding a shop to improve your weapon speed, but I didn't get round to it in the end. I'm very glad you appreciated the mugs beautiful face too.
Yeah, I was thinking that after the jam I might polish the game, so if I do it will be on my Youtube, which I've linked on my profile page.
Love the art. The movespeed feels a bit too fast, felt like I didn't have very much control. The kickback from throwing candy also felt a bit off. I love the vibes, and I like the frantic energy.
I think the problem with the recoil was that I made the system with guns in mind first. Maybe you just have a really good throwing arm, who knows. Glad you enjoyed it though, how far did you get?
Really liked the music, and the artwork is very cool especially the mug. Felt the enemy hitboxes were too small but maybe just a skill issue :)
Yeah the beautiful face of the Mug was one of my favourites too. The enemy hitboxes might be an issue, but with the way I coded them if they were bigger then the biscuits would be killing you with their mind powers occasionally, and I didn't have time to rewrite it. Glad you liked it though.
If I'm understanding you correct your using the hitbox for attack and projectile collision, a fix would be to have a hurtbox and a hitbox so the hurtbox can be more generous, or make the projectile hitbox bigger
Yeah that's what I'm thinking, it's just by the time I realised I didn't have time to change it really. But if I ever do update the game I'll definitely fix this.
