I kept feeling like the rabbit hit nothing but still got stuck, I'm not sure if it's the colliders or the movement that's the issue.

Other than that, great job! Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thanks, I will try to make the colliders smaller next time!

Submitted

Really well made! The movement was implemented really well but the bullet level was a bit too unfair in my opinion

Developer

Thanks, I will try to think of a good way to fix the bullet level later.

I absolutely adore this pixel art! I just wish that there was a bit more fanfare when you beat a level. (p.s. is it supposed to be really hard or am I just bad?)

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I wanted to add some type of event for win and death screen but I didn't have time but I will try to implement it later!

If the game had a death counter I'd be number 1 in the world for sure lmao
Pretty fun game and mechanics. Both the visuals and audio were also well put together. Good job :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I will make sure to account for it in upcoming game jams.

This was fun! I really love the cute bunny and carrots artwork. And the soundtrack is soothing. I like how I got to keep retrying until I cleared each level.

One suggestion for improvement: I couldn't see the bottom of the screen until I went full-screen. Maybe it's a matter of increasing game dimensions in the Itch page config? I thought I was supposed to not see the bottom of the screen until I saw "avoid the landmines" and I thought "what land mines?!" then tried full-screen mode.

 Overall, a good entry!

Keep making games! <3

Developer

Thanks, I tried to fit the viewport the same size as the window screen but I guess that didn't work. I will try to fix this issue.

Really cute and fun game. Well done making the player learn and building on the levels. My only critique is the death and respawn is very quick, causing me to ram into the first wall a couple times before realizing I died.

Also, random bullets is just evil lol. I couldn't make it past that level

Developer

Thanks! For the feedback, I will try to make the text more clearer and balance the level if I have some time.

I liked it!

Developer

Thanks!

Developer

Thanks!

I liked the visuals and the audio, but I suck at platformers and timing, so I found it very difficult, maybe try to make some more levels to introduce mechanics slowly. Great game otherwise!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I thought about having the introduce feature within level mechanic but I didn't have time. Still, thanks for the feedback!

I think the bullet speed was fine, but the pattern shouldn't include safe places, timing and waiting for an opening at the right moment is more of a fun challenge than just lucking out

Developer

Thanks! Sorry I didn't have much time to make the game this game jam so I couldn't implement a bullet pattern but I will try to incorporate that in later jams.

Submitted (1 edit)

The bullets were too much for my anxiety maybe make a pattern and not juste randome

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I didn't have much time this jam but I will try to implement something similiar next jame if I can.

This game did get significantly harder as the levels went on, which was surprising but in a good way. There was a very small window for errors on the levels which made mastering them feel good. The game idea all around was simple, but executed very well. Great job on this!

Developer

Thanks!

Way harder than I thought cx

Developer

Would you like me to change the difficulty and if so, do you have any ideas on how to?

Submitted

man, difficult game. Still, i gotta say the artwork is amazing

Developer

Thanks, and any notes for improvement?

Submitted

I guess maybe add more levels, or make more options for movement? Although, i do understand that you have high time constraints, so great job still

Submitted

Cute graphics, and I like the idea of the world trying to kill you, it's the opposite of my game!

I felt like it was a bit too hard, maybe smaller colliders would make it more forgiving.

Developer

Thanks will do! Do you have any other ideas on improvement for the game or any games in the future? Also, your game looks very polished; do you have a MacOS build as well?

Submitted

Maybe death animations and a bit of a delay when respawing, it does feel a bit sudden.

I don't have a MacOS build, but I recently added a Web version which you can play if you want to try it out :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, I didn't have much time to do add these animations but I think a death animation definitely would be a good idea.

Also, thanks for adding the web version. I'll try it!

Edit - I really enjoyed it!
