How does the game fit the theme?
Well, it fits from the narrative.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Graphic assets were not made from scratch. I'm just a humble programmer and have a little bit of work, so will use asset libraries

Procedural generation is new to me and so I liked this! Maybe I will come back to this when it is developed!

Developer

In developers' log you may check out the main source for this game :D. It's an awesome tutorial and it helped me a lot.

Very cool how the dungeon is procedurally generated, did you use the walkers algorithm?

I would maybe disable character rotation, or scale it down a little, so that it would be easier to fit into corridors.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it. That’s right, I’m using walkers for the dungeon generation, items and characters positioning .

Will consider the solution you gave me for the player asset.

I like that I had to rotate by bumping into corners and that when I did find a hallway I could fit down I had to squeeze through and my movement slowed way down. It felt properly claustrophobic. But then I actually got stuck and that was sad. It seems like the player isn't quite square and can only fit into the hallways in one orientation but even in that orientation it can't get through intersections.

Thanks for the feedback and your time for playing this demo, I am working in making some fixes for the hallways (they are very thin) and adding a little bit of more interaction.

Figuring out anything procedural should certainly be counted as a win. Well done!

Developer

Thanks so much for your words :D

Is it still being developed? I like the graphics so far. Couldn't move the character

Developer

Yes, it’s still on development, this part was the one I could reach in the jam week
