We had a very similar theme for our submission! A fun concept, although I did find that when I expanded the window the action was all scrunched up in one side.

Its amazing to see someone made a game purely in html/js. My recommendation is that u might want to make the screen a portrait mode and make the player to be somewhat at the bottom of the screen instead at the middle. So the player has more room to avoid the icebergs. And u can make a linear progression where the ice bergs start slow and then keep increasing the speed the longer the player plays. Good attempt tho! Keep it up :)

Simple but fun classic ;) Upgrade the player control and you'll have a cool little game there ;)

Proof you don't need fancy graphics to build something enjoyable, It's a very simple, solid core loop.

Really good idea

Maybe add faster movement and actual graphics but overall it’s an alright concept

Developer

Hi, I don't know how to make good graphics, I literally worked in a notepad. 💀

Submitted(+3)

i like the idea but there's many flaws : fullscreen breaks the game i don't know how this follows the theme? movement is very slow and the game is very luck based. please make the icebergs slower and fix the movement

Developer

fullscreen breaks game?  How? I don't know.

Hello, I forgot to write, it seems to me that it completely corresponds to the theme. There you have to dodge icebergs to avoid a shipwreck, this is the Titanic. 🕶

ohh i get it, you're right. Also the fullscreen problem is that the fullscreen doesn't scale the items with it which causes that the game gets way more larger

Developer

Hi, I don't know how to fix this.

Submitted(+1)

What game engine are you using? I know how to fix it in godot

Developer

ENGINE!? I actually used the built-in notepad in Windows, it works on HTML, I can’t even add sprites there.

The fact you made this in notepad is really impressive, especially for a smooth brain like me

the movement is very slow
