Had fun playing, it was an interesting concept and really cute! Nice work :)
A very cute art style, I like it! Like the other comment said, a moving background would be nice, but otherwise a very solid platformer, well done!
Hee-ho. Cute game. Thank you
It's a cute little game. Sometimes it's nearly impossible to tell whether the cloud I'm standing on moving or the other clouds. I would recommend adding at least a gradient background to fix that.
This was fun! Definitely high replayability value with me wanting to beat how far I got previously, character controller feels nice and snappy which is perfect for this style of platformer Didn’t much like the camera - paired with the level layouts it was rather tricky for me to see where I needed to go next, especially as the moving platforms don’t pause at their stopping points at all and tend to be quite fast moving. Overall, really solid job! I played a lot of runs and had good fun
Really liked the raindrop ,good job!
Clever concept for the main character, music and art style is cute. I had fun!
Cute game! Really fun pick of song and sound effect, and great job with the animations! The only thing I had a hard time with was following the map, I wasn't always sure which way to go. Great first game!
Nice platformer! Way better than our first attempt at one. I do feel like having the ability to control which side of the screen I can see would be better than having it switch automatically in the clouds though, since some sections are a little hard to follow.
Wow, thank you, that is a very kind! That sounds like good advice! Do you think having the ability to toggle between two different camera views would help? That is to say, start with the camera as is, but on a key press, toggle between the default camera and one that is zoomed out a little further? Or did you have something else in mind? Would love to know a little more.
I liked how the controls felt it's a fun platformer, also the character is cool reminds me of a genderswapped Teardrop
Thank you! I spent a majority of my time on the controls and trying to make them "fun". Still not 100% how I feel about them, but I'm glad you enjoyed them - it really helps getting feedback from people like yourself, otherwise I might spend an eternity fiddling with them and never feeling like they are "fun". I found it very hard to balance the "developer" vs "Gamer" perspective.
Good job! I loved how you drew all your assets and especially the animations on the little raindrop guy!
Thank you! It was my attempt at making the best of my worst skill set. Hated doing the digital art and animation at first, but by the end of the jam I found myself really enjoying the process. And I was much happier than I thought I'd be with the end result.
Very cute game, I really liked the raindrop's animations!
Thank you so much! The game jam was filled with a lot of firsts for me, but doing my own digital art and animation was probably the biggest first (in terms of never having done anything with it).
Pretty cool ! I like the drawing of the main character, but the end was a little brutal. Maybe you should leave the music on the victory screen.
Thank you! I agree, it ended up a little harder than I wanted. And yes, I absolutely will try to get the music on the finish screen - just gotta learn how to make that happen. haha!
Really nice character !
Thank you, I'm no artist, but he came out better than I expected.
