How does your game fit the theme?
Life was calm before the monsters stormed your village! Now it's time to bring the storm to them.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code, yes. Assets, no. I used free assets with permission.

Good fun, well done. Although enemies seem to have too much HP IMO

I really enjoyed this game, all the different weapons were unique with different play styles.

The game is fun. I like the weapon-wielding motion

Fun game, with great animations, art and sound.

Some enemies have a lot of HP just to have a lot of HP and feel unbalanced, the weapons are harder to use and not so balanced, but that's okay, you don't always have time for that.

Although, the game does not fit the theme of the jam.

Had fun, keep it up!

Great work! Enjoyed your game ^^  Who doesn't want to save their village from nasty monsters :D

I love your game! I will follow you because I hope you will develop that game! :D

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I'm debating whether I should put more work into the game. Is there anything you'd like to see changed or implemented?

More randomness, random generating room, loot. Just go into dungeon crawler more and mayby rougelite or rougelike. Mayby multiplayer. Something like this. More weapons etc.

So much depth to this game, great job fitting it all in for the jam! Very satisfying mechanics, and the ability to upgrade made the ending so satisfying. Great work!

I liked this Dungeon game. Combat, movement, enemies are all feeling nice. Can't believe this is a solo dev work. Assets also in a cute way.
Something I like:
1. so many levels to explore
2. I have to attack people to let them talk to me
3. I can attack the fires
4. Mimic is soooo cute. Don't touch my comment.
5. EVERYTHING!
I can tell this is so much fun and having lots of details. Can't believe it's free. Feels like stealing from you.
Feedbacks
1. enemy storm is so suprising. Got killed and second chance button didn’t  work for me. Death penalty too hash if there's no save-load
2. lobby scene load should be next to the last gate entered. now i have to run a lot

Developer

thank you so much for the comments and feedback! I’m really happy to hear you talked to the NPCs and found some of the little Easter eggs like the mimic. I don’t think I made things linear enough for a game jam entry, so only people who are willing to take time to read and explore will get everything out of the game. Really appreciate you and your comment!

The art is really good, the music got a good groove. I liked to get the enemies stuck in one spot, a bit confusing which level to go to first, I really got beaten up hard the first door I entered. Satisfying to dash around and kill everything. Well done!

Eh, I mean it's coded well and the movement feel nice, but it feels incredibly unbalanced. Shows a lot of promise, and the game looks really nice, though.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a shot! There's a definite progression of dungeons, but you have to talk to the NPCs to hear about the intended order. So if you go into a high level dungeon, you're right, it isn't balanced for that. The weapon upgrades increase damage really fast as I wanted people to feel like they're getting a lot more powerful and see big damage numbers.

Really polished pixel art and great theming and music
