This game is very beautiful, i loved the main character, however it is as difficult. It was sometimes hard to tell the background and the walkable parts, and it was difficult to figure out the hook. But the main reason i stopped trying to beat it is because i caught a bug - once the animation of death started i pressed jump and didn't die but was completely stuck in the lowest part of the screen. Nevertheless, i don't usually play platformers, it's the first one on this jam that i tried, and it definetely has some potential!
Fun game to play! I am not that into to the "skill needed platformer" genre but I liked the implementation of mechanics and the theme. Maybe the walkable/climbable areas could have more contrast colors but it is ok. Well done!
Fun game. Love it.
Nice graphics. Interesting mechanics. Have a lot of potential
Great work !!!
The game impresses with its charming art style, engaging rope mechanics, and relaxing music. While some players found certain platform elements confusing and the mechanics a bit tricky at first, the overall experience left a positive impression.
also can you review our game? Thanks in advance!
Amazing game! The art and the idea is perfect! And the theme was well used! I got confused of what to do on the lava part, gladly the character don't actually die so i could figure out! At first the controls was a bit hard for me, but after playing for a bit a got used to it. Really cool to have the power to climb stuff hehe. Also, i think the parts where you can walk in is too camouflaged with the background. And the way the text appear gets my vision tired. But the game is amazing! To do that in 1 week it's pretty awesome! Great job! :D
Solid game, fun concept and a great artstyle. I still had a kind of frustrating time with getting a hang of the rope/hook mechanics, and I often had trouble knowing where to go and which places were platforms and which weren't.
The calming background music and charming artstyle still helped to decrease that frustration a little bit for me, and I appreciate the amount of effort that must have been put into this. Great job!
Hee-ho. I like it. Very impressive mechanics. Thanks for good experience
The rope system is impressive, I love it that you can make so many things with the rope, and the graphics are super cool, great job!!
This is really impressive! Like others have mentioned, the graphics are incredible, and things generally feel polished. I like the concept of the grapple hook and swinging it in a circle before launching it, but found myself not liking the implementation as much. It felt like it slowed things down too much for me.
Love the vibe of this game. And such a cool mechanic with the hook! The music is so calm, the characters are cute, the visuals look amazing. Genuinely in awe how you did this in a week.
Holy sh*t. that was awesome
The arstyle 😘🤏
The music😘🤏
the goat girl...adorable.
the only thing id say is I didn't really know I had to save the goats- I got to the volcano part and diddnt know i had to save them(maybe it was bc I had thrown the hook so far it propelled me across the map-😭)
Otherwise, this is awesome please make more games I love this 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The art in this game is amazing! I need a plushie of that little goat in my life!
I couldn't figure it out how to get to the second character tho.
