The gameplay loop works, and it is challenging, but it definitely needs audio and some more charm to make it more engaging.

Very enjoyable take on tower defense. I really like the puzzle-y nature that comes out of this symmetrical grid style approach. Very nit picky thing, but I would have loved to see a mouse-over tooltip for the unit types, as I forgot how the healing tower worked. It was a lot of fun though. I'll add this to my collection to give it another go.

I enjoyed the game, but I think it could benefit from more waves. It felt like I was just getting into the strategy when the game ended. Adding more complexity over time would allow players to make mistakes and refine their tactics. The core mechanics are solid, though, and I can see you’ve put a lot of effort into making it work. Keep it up!

Had fun playing! I think I made an op orientation immediately for the amount of waves that exist in the game. I was just thinking to myself how this tower placement pattern won't work long term as the aoe tower's that are placed further in wouldn't have enough range to attack when the game told me I won soon after.

I think having more waves would make this game even more fun, as it will give player more chance to mess up and to keep iterating through their strategies until they could make one that works, enjoying a longer game.

I think your focus seems to be in the programming & making a gameplay loop that works so good job on doing so! I can see that it must be fun trying to code it.

Fun idea! The game lacks balance, but the concept is fun!

Had a bug where I had accidentally placed a healing piece right above the button for selecting the tower piece, and the clouds that attack healing pieces surrounded it and didn't attack, just kind of sat there, and since that piece was so far from the rest of my pieces nothing could shoot them. So the game just sat there not being able to continue on because nothing could attack them, and they weren't attacking for some reason.

I think you can make it as WebGL version, good concept idea though. Keep it up my man !

It's a simple and well-executed game. Well done.

Interesting but not fitting the jam theme!

the game is fun , well made witt no bugs. but hhonestly it doesn't fit much the theme apart for the "Storm" name.

Like, every tower defense by this logic is a calm before the storm type of game.

bit cheap in that way.

there is also no audio,

graphics are not good but perfecttly readable (whihch i prefer)

overall fun but not much innto the theme for me!

Game is pretty well designed with the tower diversity and the ability to really manipulate the pathing of the AI to maximize your strategy. My only issue is that I wish the enemies themselves had more visuals to differentiate them in terms of mechanics as they don't feel very "storm" like. It has a lot of depth and it took me a few attempts to really grasp what the towers do, but it is definitely a fun concept and nice tower defense game.

It is a well desgined game with different tower types, and I can trick enemies to walk from the long way and kill them all, it was fun :D . Btw is there audio in the game, I couldn't hear anything maybe my settings are wrong?

Nice tower defense game. The enemies felt a little too strong for the towers and receiving constant amount of money even though the waves are progressively harder seems a little too difficult. Otherwise liked it.

Solid game, simple, readable art, no bugs, decent gameplay and options, if this is your first game jam game as a solo dev, congratulations! I would be very proud of this game if it was my first.

This game is fun I like tower defence idea. I think if you fleshed out the graphics, added music/sound effects and visual signals, this game would be even more fun. Having a variety of different towers would also be fun, good job on the submission!

It's a shame the game doesn't have audio! would have been really cool

placing the towers felt kind of tedious xd, i would suggest making it so you don't have to reselect a tower when placing it and the game reselects the one you already have

the game art reminded me of chess at first lol

nice game! ❤️

Game Design:

Just a tower defence, how I like my games.

Fun:

It was quite fun. you can find a lot of cheesy strats which is a good thing.

Innovation:

not much in the innovation part.

Theme:

This was on point to the theme. the storm and the calm phase was clearly seperated and the calm phase was actually calm.

Graphics:

Didn't really loved the graphics. it was just the same cloud recolored, a crown, a bunch of dots, a plus and a tower thingy.

Audio:

No audio which is a shame.

Conclusion:

Overall, the idea was decent but one thing that I would do is to make more variety.

Also I wouldn't mind you playing my games, cheers.
