Pretty cool game, however more directional feeling and button layout would have been nice. But overall great submission!

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about a guy that is lost in a island.
Each day on the island have relaxing task to do to be prepare for the storm coming on day 5.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I made all,
Code, Assets and Music.
Except for 2 things:
thunder and beach sound are cc0 license from https://freesound.org/
menu background image I created using with Dall-E 2

Cute graphics and music! I had some issue finding the purple tree on day 2, I'm not sure how I feel about having to complete random tasks in order to survive it was slightly frustrating. There is a nice base for a survival game here though so nice job!
A cute and simple game to understand. I had a lot of fun and relaxation playing it! I also really liked the background picture in the main menu!!!
It's impressive you made this in one week! I love the mood and the exploration task
Very cool. Great job for making this in a short period of time! Sadly I also struggled with finding the purple tree on day 2
this guy is exactly who i want with me if im stranded on an island. so optimistic, appreciates the simple things in life XD
I really loved how you implemented the pixelart, i feel some kind of calm with the music. Nice game <3
You nailed the presentation! It really sells the "calm" part of the "calm before the storm" theme and I like how the atmosphere is different for each day. I will say that the game is very forgiving in giving you a lot of resources for your tasks and ample time, although I think making it otherwise would've made it more stressful. Overall great job!
Nice job getting everything together!
The only thing that was missing was an old soccer ball that gave you tutorials. :)
I liked overall atmosphere and effects, the game also felt meditative. As for pacing, tasks felt a bit grindy
Cool little game, I like the simple graphics and the background music. If you keep working on it, maybe add some more tasks, or more things to do when the tasks are complete. I like the inclusion of little details, like the sharks in the water, that aren't necessary but are a nice extra touch.
I like the game and love the pixel art and the cocus. My only note is that it takes a long time to beat.
A very ambitious idea for a game in 1 week, but I felt like I was just walking around without much 'fun' being had. Maybe with some more time and mechanics this could be something cool.
It's a cool game. also liked the minimalistic pixel artstyle. Nice survival game! Good Luck!
loved it. Took me some time to find shelter at first, for a moment I thought I would fail, haha.
A complex and complete game to do in a week GJ!
First off, I applaud you for doing a survival game in only a week. I feel like it's a type of game that's extremely hard to balance in a short time frame. In terms of your game, I like the stress of having something difficult/scary on the horizon and spending time to prepare for it. That definitely came across. Unfortunately I was able to beat the game with something like 280 food, and a bunch of other resources that I never used for anything. (Can the resources other than food be used for anything? Sorry if I missed it)
Most of the difficulty came from getting the tasks done quickly so I wouldn't have to stress about them (I assume you lose the game if you don't do the daily tasks before the end of the day, but I wouldn't know I got them each time). After the task were done I would just sort of wander about the island picking up sticks and cool rocks without an understanding of what I could use them for.
So as a basis for an expanded/more fleshed out game, and for a game jam, fantastic. Great job. But I didn't have any fun while playing it, sorry to say. But also good job at sticking to the theme. Cheers!
