How does your game fit the theme?
At the end of each level you can open two of five doors, the doors can be of four different types that give different rewards, and after entering one of those two doors, you receive your reward and get taken to a new map, there is something different behind each door, thus creating the question and fitting the theme: what is behind the door?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Good game, simple and fun .Btw, idk why my browser get freeze when i die in lvl 2.
Great design!
Could you please rate my game ( https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2536045 )?
Fun shooter, the different stat payoffs and variety in enemies kept it interesting!
Cute little game. At first I was like... I wish there was more art, and then I was like... nah... this is super cute.
Nice work.
D
I liked the variety of enemies and the small squash and stretch - animations really work wonders to provide a good feel.
That was a really solid fun experience. Aside from the occasional freezes (I noticed your thing about the accelerator), it didn't feel clunky, and the buffs felt reasonable instead of OP. I didn't stack double doors so maybe that's why. I guess I was afraid they wouldn't stack like that. I think having more feedback for when I get hit would be useful. A camera shake and/or quick color change could help with that.
I saw in your devlog that you were considering making this into a fuller game. I think you have a good foundation for that.
Haha yeah, I've realised how important that feedback on hit is, I somehow didn't think of it when playtesting it. And yeah, I think I have a good starting point for a full game, funnily enough I took two days just to think of the idea, but when I finally thought of the idea it really flowed out, so I could make the game with the future in mind. The only problem is that I have so much other stuff I want to do it's hard to focus on turning this into a full game for a month or two.
I enjoy the gameplay! After getting past the freezing, the controls feel very fluent and the variety of enemies keep me on my toes. Fits well with the theme too since the perks and level are random after entering each door.
What can be improved:
Other than that, I really love your game!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! And yeah, I was thinking about the points you mentioned, but I just didn't have the time to get around to them, and in the end I just focussed on making what was there the best it could be.
great idea i like how the enemies form in the air
Thanks!
The art was simple, but I quite liked it! It would have been nice to have some more feedback on when I was being hit. Overall, enjoyable arcade game!
I did have a problem when trying to open it in Firefox where it wouldn't run.
Yeah I was wondering myself how to have more feedback on getting hit, and I didn't think of anything in time sadly. And Godot's web exports are kind of funky right now, they switched to some new stuff on the web side and some platforms don't accept it (pretty sure Godot web exports can't run on Mac for example). But glad you enjoyed the game!
The color scheme was beautiful and stunning. The feel of the operation was also pleasant!
Yeah I really love the minimalistic style because it focusses so much on colour schemes, good to know it worked out!
Really fun idea, though there is some problem with hit detection and lack of art in game. But overall great idea and mechanics!
Yeah the hits are a bit weird unfortunately, I'll definitely be fixing that in the future, thanks for playing!
