Its setting is underwater and as you dive deeper and deeper, pressure changes the way how the movement feels and makes certain aspects of the game harder

macking sushi is so hard!
Really liked the underwater effects, the upgrades and the weapons.
I really liked the mechanics that changed as you go deeper; great use of the theme. I loved the flash light, and the juicy effects like the bubble trail. I wish we would have had the idea to add that to our game. The progression was a little slow at the beginning. But overall, one of the best game's I've played so far this Jam.

Really cool game! The level of polish is unreal, congratulations ^^!
The graphics, sound design and level design are really good ^^! I really enjoyed the music changing the deeper you go, that's a nice touch. The combat was fun and challenging, but the harpoon mecanic was a little bit strange. I understood the harpoon -> knife combo, but when I didn't one-shot the enemies with it, I stoped using it because it gave the enemies free hits.
The progression if very slow, unfortunately ^^'. I would have enjoyed it better if the first ugrades where cheaper, and the late upgrades were more expensive. And, I must say, not a lot of upgrades seemed really good because they come with a debuff that sounds scary (like losing 1hp/s ? With so few healing? I don't know what is "1hp" because the health bar doesn't show any numbers, but that sounds bad!).
The camera is waaaay to high! Since the way to go is always "down", having the character at mid-screen makes it so 50% of the screen is nearly useless... I was often hit by fishes because they saw me before I saw them ^^'.
But hey, I'm focusing here on the 2-3 little things that bothered me because everything else in the game is absolutely stunning and solid! You did a really great job with that game, and it's incredibly polished. Congratulations!
Oh Nice! Really fun. It got scarier and scarier the deeper I went :O. Great art and sound.
Dodging the fish was actually quite fun as their movement is well tuned to be faster but more slippery than your own, meaning that you're sort of dodging and weaving around them, which is quite satisfying. The swordfish is the exception, I didn't really understand how you were supposed to dodge them. I think that the game should be way harder, but progress the one level way faster. As it is right now, you spend like 10 minutes fighting the same three enemies and the thought of replaying all of it to get to where you just were makes the player likely to just quit. All that said, the gameplay is sort of lacking a unique element. Still, like I said the combat with the fish was pretty fun, though I wouldn't spend more than 10 minutes doing it, and the art and sound was high quality.
Immersive game, i really liked the sound, graphics and controls, congrats!
Features are really great. Player animation can be better. Enemy fishes attacks are nice and it recall me of pirahna movie.
I had a lot of fun playing this! I do feel like there's not a whole lot of incentive to fight enemies, as it's very difficult to get any hits in without taking damage and wasting oxygen, but it's really satisfying to combo the harpoon gun into a knife hit to finish off an enemy. The level generation is pretty good and the music and graphics are pretty good too.
Pretty cool
Pros:
-Very fun and emersive with a complete upgrade system
-Controls smooth
Cons:
-No real incentive to fight enemies, you can get really far by just dodging them and not fightin g or collecting any XP or getting uprades.
-Its easier to run from enemies than it is to fight them, honestly very hard to hit enemies without getting hit youtself
Minor Issues:
-The WebGL version is extreamly laggy, even when not full screened and ESPECIALLY when full screened
-Escape key closses the game even when ur in the middle of a match, which is confusing cuz im used to pressing escape to close a menu, lost a lot of progress lmao

really fun little game, love how satisfying grappling enemies in and knifing them is. upgrades were interesting and the art is great!
Love the music and the overall aesthetic, really nice, just I got a bit frustrated with the attack, somehow I struggled a lot to kill the fish with the knife, I think it should be a bit easier, the fact that the cooldown is quite long and if we are not exactly in the right timing we don't hit them is a bit frustrating, but otherwise great looking entry for the jam :)
The one-two combo with the harpoon is so satisfying. Though it stops being effective once you get to the bigger enemies. Cool game!
wow a really polished, clean, and fun diving game! the atmosphere is great especially with the music! the only problem i had was when going down i was not fast enough to react to the fish flying up to get me. it caught me off guard a lot and was kinda frustrating when trying to back away from other fish to attack and then being rushed by another from out of nowhere. Otherwise it is a great game and i had so much fun!
