Very adventure quest vibe! thank you for the nostalgia and an even prettier art. had to play in full screen to kill the 2nd boss as the bigger gem on his arm cant be reached in normal window.
I wish there was more as I tried many times to beat the 2nd boss and then the game ended there and i felt cheated.

Thank you for playing my game. I have noticed that many comments are about the boss hiding in the corner. I have been adding/ fixing some components of the game and discovered that due to a last-minute change before submitting (almost 6 am), the player isn't set to be followed by the camera. Although so simple to fix, too late now, anyway I will be uploading a future version of this game with less bugs and hopefully more bosses.

One of the best boss design of the jam! The animation are too slow and it's a bit hard to fight precisly. It would be nice to have more generous controls.

Thank you for trying out my game. The player and boss were hand drawn. I think I understand what you want to say about precision, one of the crystals is kind of hidden and can't be reached easily.

I am planning to expand this game with more bosses and content.

What improvements would you like to see with the controls?

(This was made with the old input system in unity since the new one has given me issues with Webgl builds but will try it again in the future).

A better reach for the caracter and his weapon. Faster animation and movement. :D

Neat idea for a game. I liked the visuals and the animations were great. I couldn't get a hang of the combat and it felt a little unfair

Thank you for playing my game. There were many last-minute additions, and I didn't have time for additional bosses, so I made the first one more challenging. There was also a sling shot mechanic that would have made things easier, but I had to remove it before submission.

The controls were a bit cumbersome and a bit buggy but neat idea! Love the concept of hitting different parts of a boss in order to defeat it. I was able to just infinitely roll and push the boss off screen which was a little frustrating considering I couldn't actually hit it.

I like the idea of having to hit specific parts of a boss to deteriorate it more in order to defeat it! I appreciate the tutorial so I could get more used to the mechanics of the game, which was nice. It was a bit hard trying to get the last red gem, I saw in a comment you have posted that he flips around eventually, but I don't think I was able to see a time where he flipped around. Overall, a really cool concept for a game!

I like the design, but the boss is a coward and always runs out of the screen so he's almost impossible to hit. Especially for the last red gem...

I take it there isn't even a way to jump over him so one could reach his "back side" red gem?

Developer

Thank you for trying out my game. There isn't a way but if you did the boss would flip around so he ends up always facing you. Did you manage to kill him? I didn't have enough time to play test enough to check if it is balanced enough.
