As a fan of hardcore platformer games, I enjoyed playing it! Controls felt responsive and level design was nice overall. The fact that you can dash upwards needed more explanation tho, good job btw :)

What a game! Fair play for making this in C++ from scratch, I love the idea of abstracting a lot of features to really focus in on some core gameplay. The game was brutally hard but it was totally fair due to the controls being very tight and responsive. It was so satisfying when I finally managed to beat it! The instant respawns and unlimited attempts allow for improving on a particular jump/level until you nail it.
Great work, it won't be for everyone due to the difficulty level, but from a personal point of view it was my favourite game that I've played so far from the jam. Great work.
