Very nice game, even though its simple. The art, in my opinion, is its best quality. I'd appreciate if you rated my game as well. And good job!

Yeah I kinda ran out of time and just mashed my keyboard and I didn't playtest it so yeeeah...
love the retro aesthetic and the use of the old "arcade"-like mechanics. really interesting take on the theme :)
Loved the aesthetic, the effects and everything were great. However the pacing for me is all over the place. I was dead within the first 2 seconds playing for the first few tries then kept getting ambushed by spawning enemies later on (maybe have let the player know if enemies are spawning under them). I would say for your next project work on pacing, have a slow ramp up in difficulty so the player can get used to the game before challenging them.
Also I was able to "cheese" the game by standing in the lava which only dealt 1 damage and allowed me to stand still and let the enemies to chase me to their demise.
Glad you liked the game! I didn't let people playtest the game and I ran out of time, so the pacing this time was really bad.
Oh and why are you guys so smart lol I sent the link to this game to some of my imaginary friends (who all only wanted to play, not test) and a few days later they all sent me an image where they just stood in the lava.
I liked the old tv look of the game, very retro. The shooting is good, like really good. I prefer to shoot the enemies directly than pushing them to lava because the knockback is not strong enough.
Awesome visuals! Love the amount of juice in the combat too
Glad you liked it :). The combat was an aspect of the game which I spent a day of work on and I am happy that it paid off.
